Invincible season 3's teaser trailer officially confirms; The show's third entry will be released on February 6, 2025, just over a year after season 2's release date in November 2023.

The Villain Conquest Is One Of Mark's Toughest Obstacles
The villain in question is named Conquest. Conquest's arrival to Earth was teased by Anissa after she left Mark bloodied and broken in Invincible season 2. Anissa hinted that the coming villain would be somehow even less lenient towards Mark and Earth than she was. In Invincible season 3's teaser trailer, Conquest's arrival was foreshadowed once more. The teaser is more of a meta look at the season akin to season 2's first trailer, involving Mark and Cecil sitting in the Burger Mart, self-referentially exploring what will be part of Invincible season 3's story.
Cecil references Mark's battle with Anissa from Invincible season 2, criticizing the former for allowing the latter to defeat him so easily. After this, Cecil states "Not only that, she promised Mr. Ten-Times-Worse was on his way, so what exactly have you been doing to prepare?" This character is the aforementioned Conquest, who will undoubtedly be the toughest test Mark has come across yet in his relatively young superhero life.

Overall, Conquest's arrival will not mark a happy time in Mark Grayson's life. Since Invincible season 1, it has been highlighted at length how Mark struggles to deal with Viltrumite opponents. He was easily beaten by Omni-Man in Invincible season 1's ending, and it was only his father's mercy that saw Mark survive. In Invincible season 2, part 1's ending, Mark again struggled to fight Viltrum's soldiers and had to rely on Omni-Man to survive. Anissa's leniency is all that saw Mark survive that encounter, boding ill for when he faces one of Invincible's most powerful characters.

Conquest is one of the strongest Viltrumites in the empire, proving why his arrival is so bad for the severely under-trained Mark. Conquest's Arrival Has Lasting Consequences For Mark
The following section contains spoilers for the Invincible comic books and likely Invincible season 3 as a result.
As alluded to, Mark is left dealing with the consequences of the Invincible War - a battle between Earth's heroes and alternate, evil versions of Mark unleashed by Angstrom - when Conquest arrives. Conquest begins to berate Mark and Earth, stating that both will submit to the rule of Viltrum, or he will unleash his full powers, which he is rarely allowed to do. Mark refuses, stating that he has been looking for an excuse to unleash his pent-up rage, and the two engage in an epic fight.
The fight rages on and Mark is overpowered several times, with Conquest regularly goading Mark by saying that he simply enjoys unmitigated violence. Mark is eventually aided by his brother Oliver, Omni-Man's rapidly aging son from Invincible season 2, who is severely wounded and almost killed. Eve, who was in a coma due to the Invincible War, awakens and rushes to Mark's aid. Conquest seemingly kills Eve, causing Mark to fly into a rage and repeatedly headbutt the Viltrumite until he is killed.
The Invincible War will likely take up the majority of Invincible season 3, with the fight against Conquest happening in the finale.
Eve miraculously survives by discovering her powers can affect organic matter, and Oliver is healed. However, this fight changes Mark drastically. Not only does it make Mark stronger regarding his ability to unleash his powers and combat Viltrumites, but it also makes him a more broken person. The injuries suffered by Eve and Oliver are a big factor in this, and will likely mean Invincible season 3's ending is one of tragedy ahead of Conquest's fight, with Mark being more mature as a result going into the already-confirmed season 4.
