Invincible season 3, episode 7 finally adapted the long-awaited Invincible War storyline, with Mark's battles against the evil Invincibles pushing him to his limit. The end of the episode saw the arrival of Conquest, the biggest threat that Mark has had to face off against yet. Almost the entirety of season 3, episode 8 is Mark fighting Conquest, with them destroying large cities, killing countless humans, and drawing incredible amounts of blood. In the end, Mark defeats Conquest and goes into a coma. Invincible season 3 then teases what is to come in season 4 before coming to a close.
What Comes Next For Angstrom Levy & The Evil Mark Graysons?
After The Invincible War
Angstrom Levy and the evil Mark Graysons are the biggest players in Invincible season 3, which is why it is strange that they received very little focus in the season 3 finale. In Invincible season 3, episode 7, Angstrom Levy banishes the remaining evil Invincibles to a deserted universe, the same one that Mark and Angstrom fought in during the season 2 finale. Then, Angstrom returns to the world of the Technicians, where they say they will only fix him after he helps them.

What Happens To All 30 Invincible Heroes During Season 3's Invincible War Explained
Invincible's larger superhero community appears in big and small roles across season 3's "What Have I Done?," setting up the show's future.
Angstrom and the Invincibles won't return for a while, although they do have a future in the show. When Angstrom Levy does return in the Invincible comics, he kidnaps Atom Eve and sends Invincible to the barren wasteland universe where the evil Invincibles are. Upon arriving, Mark learns that the evil Invincibles have killed and cannabalized each other, with Sinister Mark and Mohawk Mark being the only ones who remain. This event is the final storyline that Angstrom Levy is involved in, putting an end to his role in Invincible's story.
Atom Eve Is Now One Of Invincible's Most Powerful Characters (But Something's Wrong)
She Gained An All-New Power
Atom Eve has always been powerful, but the new power that she receives in the season 3 finale makes her even moreso. Atom Eve is nearly killed by Conquest, with her dying as Conquest continues to fight Mark. However, a burst of pink light brings Eve back to life. Eve soon learns that the mental block that keeps her from tampering with biological matter is removed in near-death scenarios. This is what allowed her to save herself, with this new power making her essentially immortal.
At the end of the season 3 finale, Mark and Eve are about to have sex, with Eve using her powers to remove Mark's Invincible suit. The suit can be seen melting on the floor, signaling that something is wrong with it. In the Invincible comics, Eve's powers begin to malfunction when she is pregnant, hinting that this storyline will appear in Invincible season 4.
Why Cecil Kept Conquest & The Dead Invincibles
He Has Two Dangerous Plans
Another big reveal from the end of Invincible season 3, episode 8 has to do with the whereabouts of Conquest's corpse. Unknown to Mark, Cecil is holding Conquest in a massive prison miles under a desert. Cecil tells Donald that, when Conquest wakes up, he plans on getting information about the Viltrumite invasion from him. Although holding Conquest is a dangerous gamble, Cecil believes that it is worth it for the Viltrumtie intel.

Who Voices Conquest In Invincible Season 3
Invincible season 3, episode 7 finally introduces Conquest, with the show revealing what actor will be voicing the beloved Viltrumite villain.
Conquest isn't the only Viltrumite body that Cecil is holding. Cecil has also rounded up the bodies of the dead Mark Graysons from the Invincible War. As is seen throughout the season 3 finale, Cecil has tasked D.A. Sinclair with making ReAnimen out of the evil Invincibles. This would allow the GDA to have its own army of Viltrumties, with these ReAnimen being far stronger than the ones made out of human corpses.
Invincible Season 3's Ending Sets Up Battle Beast's Return
As Part Of The Viltrumite War
In Invincible season 3's final montage, Battle Beast is seen, setting up his return after Allen and Nolan's prison break. A group of aliens finds Battle Beast, frozen and floating in space among the remains of the Viltrumite prison guard that he fought. They bring Battle Beast aboard the ship, with him thawing out and waking up. In the Invincible comics, Battle Beast is recruited by the Coalition of Planets to fight in the Viltrumite War, with his time in the prison proving that he is one of the few Invincible characters strong enough to kill a Viltrumite.
Mark Grayson's Downfall Proves People Can Change (For The Worse)
He Has Proven Cecil Right
Invincible season 3's main theme asks if people can change, with this being at the center of Mark and Cecil's ideological battle throughout the season. Cecil's collaboration with former killers like D.A. Sinclair and Darkwing shocks Mark, although Cecil says that these second chances are for the greater good. Meanwhile, Mark completely disagrees. Mark seems to think that these villains are forever tainted and incapable of growth, despite him forgiving his father for his season 1 crimes and himself for killing Angstrom Levy.
At the end of Invincible season 3, however, Mark makes a shocking ission. Mark tells Oliver that he will not hesitate to kill anyone who threatens his family. This is a massive leap from Mark's previous no-killing rule, highlighting the continuation of Mark's dark arc. Mark's downfall proves that Cecil was right in believing that people can change. While D.A. Sinclair and Darkwing are proof that people can change for the better, Mark Grayson is proof that people can change for the worse.
How Invincible Season 3's Sequid & Damien Darkblood Scenes Set Up Season 4
Could Damien Get An Original Story?
Two other major storylines are set up in Invincible season 4's final montage. Firstly, the Sequids are seen again, with it being revealed that they have begun to grow their numbers while living in the sewers. In the Invincible comics, this leads to the Sequids attempting to take over Earth once again, with Mark and the Guardians of the Globe having to take them down once more.

Will Angstrom Levy Return In Invincible Season 4? The Villain's Future Explained
Invincible season 3 brings back Angstrom Levy in a big way, but will Sterling K. Brown's villain make a return in seasons of the show?
The Invincible season 3 finale's post-credits scene centers on Damien Darkblood, a character who hasn't been seen since season 1. After being sent to Hell by Cecil in the comics, Damien never returns.
