What Yeun's Casting As Mark's Multiverse Variants Means For Invincible
Season 3's Final Episodes Are Setting Up A Massive Conflict
Angstrom has been watching Mark and his family throughout Invincible season 3, although it was unclear what his larger plan was going to be. However, the end of season 3, episode 6 revealed he's now working with variants of the protagonist from across the multiverse, all of whom look prepared to fight. It seems the episodes' major conflict will involve their arrival to the series' main dimension, with Yeun's casting indicative that each of them will play an important role. The villain's ultimate plan, however, has yet to be revealed.

Who The Other Invincibles Are In Invincible Season 3, Episode 6's Final Scene
Invincible season 3, episode 6 ends with a huge tease for the future by revealing a room full of alternate versions of Mark, assembled by an old foe.
Since he's been watching Mark's family closely, it seems like Angstrom will be sending his Invincible army to attack him, putting Debbie (Sandra Oh) and Oliver (Christian Convery) in danger once again. Another possibility is that he's going to attack Mark's Earth with his army, prompting a response from the GDA as Cecil (Walton Goggins) gets a chance to test his anti-Viltrumite weapons. However, given the number of variants Yeun is voicing, it seems like whatever happens next will have major repercussions that are still felt during Invincible season 4 and beyond.
Our Take On Yeun Getting Cast As 18 Invincible Variants
It Makes Sense Given His Past Roles In The Show
This won't be the first time Yeun has voiced other versions of Mark, with multiverse variants appearing during season 2 of the show as well. However, this will be the largest number showing up all at once, with their strength possibly requiring more than just Mark, the Guardians of the Globe, and the GDA to fight them. With 18 villainous versions of the main character set to arrive, Invincible might have set up its biggest conflict so far.
