What To Expect From The Iron Claw

According to the official summaries of The Iron Claw, the movie concentrates on the rise of the Von Erichs. They've had an immense impact on professional wrestling, which stretches from the 1960s and continues through today in of how wrestlers present themselves and perform, but their lives were laced with tragedy. Kevin, who Efron plays in the movie, is the last surviving son of Fritz Von Erich. Three of Fritz's sons, including Kerry and Mike, died by suicide. David Von Erich died from an illness. Fritz's firstborn, Jack Jr., died of accidental drowning.

To tell the story, The Iron Claw enlists Holt McCallany to play Fritz Von. Lily James appears as Kevin's wife Pam, while the popular AEW star MJF plays Lance Von Erich. It's a notable part, as Lance had no relation to the Von Erichs and was merely playing a character. The stacked ensemble, which appeals to both film and wrestling fans, bodes well for the movie's success.
