Iron Man Showcases His Latest Armor
Tony Stark is in dire need of a win! But how does he plan to get ahead? By building a new suit of armor! The suit’s first objective? Infiltrate and destroy Stark Industries!
Recently, Tony has been badly outplayed by Feilong. After expending his fortune to stop the world's deadliest weapons from falling into the wrong hands, Tony saw a series of 'accidents' rob him of his emergency funds and destroy his reputation. Now, his company and inventions are the property of Feilong, who is working with the mutant-hating group Orchis to launch an unprecedented attack on the X-Men. To fight back, Iron Man has his new Mark Nil suit, a random assortment of doomsday weapons, and the help of X-Men's Emma Frost, who is seemingly about to crown Tony Stark the new Black King of the Hellfire Club.
Tony Stark's Mark Nil Armor Is His Last Shot
Of course, Tony Stark is never unarmed, and the man who built his first suit with a box of scraps is fighting back with new armor that's designed to sabotage his former company without anyone ever knowing he was there. As Tony undergoes a new Armor Wars in all but name, the Mark Nil suit isn't just his weapon against Feilong, but his only alternate suit for the foreseeable future, whether infiltrating Stark Industries or fighting alongside the Avengers against god-level enemies the Ashen Combine.
Iron Man's New Armor Will Face Huge Challenges
Tony Stark has nothing left, and his Mark Nil suit represents his last chance to stop Feilong turning his personal legacy into a genocidal attack on mutantkind. Thankfully, Tony has always done his best work when underestimated, and it's a guarantee that Iron Man's new armor has a few tricks up its chassis that no-one is going to see coming.
Invincible Iron Man #7 is coming from Marvel Comics June 7.
