Bill Hader revealed his daughter recently watched It Chapter 2 and wasn't a huge fan of the 2019 horror movie. The first It movie followed the of the Losers Club as children, with the second movie featuring a 27-year time jump. Bill Hader ed the reviews for It Chapter Two were somewhat mixed, with many critics believing the first movie to be better, so Hader's daughter is in the majority.

Hader appeared on the Where Everybody Knows Your Name podcast and its to host Ted Danson that his daughter didn't really like It Chapter Two. He claimed that his children don't usually watch his movies at all, but since It Chapter Two is a common horror movie to play at sleepovers, his daughter was exposed to it. The only thing my kids have ever been interested in seeing [involving me] is, I was in It 2. I was in the It movie and they've been to different sleepovers, and that's like a movie kids put on at sleepovers. So my kid did go, 'I saw you in It.' And I was like, 'Oh, what do you think?' She was like, 'First movie was better.' I was like, 'Okay.'

A star-studded cast of actors portrayed the adult version of the Losers Club's in It Chapter Two. In addition to Hader, the cast of It Chapter Two included the likes of Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy.

Many reviews for It Chapter Two note that the film prioritized trying to scare audience over developing interesting characters.

However, despite the all-star cast, the sequel was not received as well as the first movie. It Chapter Two has a score of 62% on Rotten Tomatoes, whereas the first It movie has an impressive 85%. Even though it may not be as good as the first film, it is still a very solid horror movie.
