Controversial star Jake Paul has called out a range of possible pro boxing opponents, from LeBron James to Joe Biden to Ellen DeGeneres, and recently, it seems like he has taken a serious interest in targeting mixed martial artists and UFC stars.
Paul embarked upon his professional boxing journey 3 years ago and has since had two professional fights. His last fight was in November of this year against NBA retiree Nate Robinson. Paul ended the fight in style, serving up an electric knockout against his celebrity counterpart. Since then, he has taken to social media to challenge the best of the UFC to meet him toe to toe in the ring.
Paul recently posted a video montage imitating top UFC figures Dana White, Michael Bisping, Nate Diaz, Ben Askren, and Conor McGregor, as a not so subtle jab towards the organization. Most notably, the YouTuber parodied UFC President Dana White by mimicking him and saying, "I have a small p**** and I suck Conor McGregor's d*** all day long." He also mocked Nate Diaz with a bit that featured an incoherent lisp and a marijuana blunt. The montage is one of many examples of Jake Paul making a mockery of the UFC and its MMA stars. He recently posted another video calling Conor McGregor a 'c***' and said that his wife is a 'four'. See both videos below:
Paul has also gone after MMA fighter Dillon Danis, who is Conor McGregor's Jiu-Jitsu coach. Rumors have circulated that Paul might opt to face Danis in the boxing ring instead, with Paul even showcasing a $500,000 check he offered to Danis for the fight. This seems to be another jab as the YouTuber also offered McGregor the fight for $50 million. Paul also claims to have slept with Danis' girlfriend and has posted pictures of a video call between him and the MMA star's significant other. Additionally, Paul recently ambushed Danis during an interview and pelted him with water balloons and toilet paper rolls.
On the other hand, of the McGregor camp aren't the only UFC prospects that Paul can take on. Former UFC contender Ben Askren looks likely to be Paul's next fight, with MMA insider Chael Sonnen confirming so via his Twitter. Additionally, UFC veterans Nate Diaz and Vitor Belfort have issued threats to the star. Women's Bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes also has voiced a willingness to fight, after Dana White suggested that Paul should first test his luck with her. All in all, it seems like the UFC has plenty of options they are willing to throw Jake Paul's way. He's doing a great job of making it easy for them.
