Janelle Pierzina, the Big Brother legend who played in four seasons of the game, is watching season 24, and she explained why it is one of the best modern seasons of the show. Many fans think that Janelle is one of the greatest houseguests in Big Brother history. She is called the "Queen of Big Brother" because of her unmatched physical and social game play. She began her Big Brother career in 2005 on season 6, and returned the following season for Big Brother 7, the first all-stars game. During that season, she set the record for the most individual competitions won in a single season. Janelle won four Head of Household (HOH) and five veto competitions, earning the nickname "Veto Queen," for a total of nine wins. She again placed third in the competition. She also won the first ever America's Favorite Houseguest award.

In 2012, Janelle returned as one of the coaches for Big Brother 14, and later ed the game as a player, placing 12th. She also played in the second all-stars season in 2021, Big Brother 22, during which she placed 14th, when the other houseguests immediately targeted her for eviction. They did this because they were threatened by her outstanding gameplay on her previous seasons, and her allegiance to her Big Brother best friend, Kaysar Ridha. Janelle played Big Brother over a span of 16 years, so she has seen how the game has evolved over time. Many superfans have complained that the heyday of Big Brother has ed, saying that newer players will never be able to live up to the powerful gameplay from prior seasons. However, the seasoned player Janelle definitely thinks that Big Brother 24 has been a welcome change from some of the more recent seasons of the show.

In an interview with Big Brother 24 to the iconic season 6. Janelle is also enjoying watching the alliances battle it out. She wondered if The Leftovers will fracture in the next couple of weeks, and acknowledged that they are starting to break apart already.

Janelle does not enjoy watching one dominant alliance steamroll through a Big Brother season, which is why she has been enjoying season 24 so much. She shared, "It’s so interesting to watch. I would say it lines up there with, for me, I love Season 20 because I love fighting alliances. I like to root for the underdogs." During Big Brother 20, Level Six was the dominant alliance, and consisted of soon-to-be-legends Tyler Crispen, Kaycee Clark, and Angela Rummans, among others. Because of this, Janelle said that she "always rooted for that horrible [opposing] alliance, The Hive? They were so bad. But I loved watching Bayleigh [Dayton] try to figure it out."

While Janelle definitely made an indelible mark on the show, and it is thrilling to see Big Brother 24 houseguests who want to live up to her level of game play.
