The future of Shoresy season 4 debuted this past January, and a fifth installment is coming.
Justin Stockman, Bell Media’s VP of Content Development & Programming, addressed Jared Keeso's next project and the overall future of the Letterkenny franchise in comments to Deadline. Bell Media is one of the production companies behind Letterkenny and Shoresy, with Stockman revealing that there were efforts to make sure that his next series will be another Letterkenny spinoff. Although that won't happen in the immediate future, as Stockman explains in the quote below, it's still a possibility:
“We were really pushing Jared for another spin-off from the Letterkenny universe and this is not it, but it’s exciting enough that he has pushed us off that. When we got the pitch, we were like, ‘we’ll get to the Letterkenny spinoff next.”

Keeso Will Be Focusing On Something Else For A Bit
Stockman, along with Bell’s General Manager of Original Programming, Carlyn Klebuc, wouldn't reveal too much about Keeso's next series in their comments. But it's noted that it will be a six-part comedy, which is slated to debut next year. The project is part of a deal that Keeso signed back in December 2023, which promoted speculation about whether there would be expansions of the Shoresy and Letterkenny worlds as part of the pact.

Canadian hockey comedy Shoresy may be unique, but there are several great shows out there that match its tone, style of humor, or character arcs.
At least to this point, a new spinoff looks like it won't be next in line. But executives are still eager to explore the possibility, mentioning that it will be next up after Keeso's current project. The enthusiasm speaks to the way that Shoresy's cast of characters connected with audiences overall, injecting new life into the Letterkenny world.

Shoresy season 5 is confirmed to happen, though a release date is not yet known. Even if the future of the unlikely franchise is a bit of a question mark beyond that, it is undeniably heartening to see how a unique comedy with a singular voice has been able to build itself up. Lettekenny has not only thrived on its own , it has also been able to set up its spinoff to follow that same path. The next iteration of the story will get a chance to do the same. It may not be too soon, but it is still very much on the table.
