Assuming that Gunn and Safran are able to help build up the DC Universe, a massive event movie that brings the Justice League back together is essential. It would be quite strange if the franchise continued to let its most recognizable team of heroes sit on the sidelines or have the Justice League ' futures only include ing roles in other projects. The cast deserves another chance to be in a movie without massive production issues. Justice League 2 can be the conclusion of the first four years of Gunn and Safran's leadership at DC Studios and a chance to re-introduce the team to audiences so they can play a bigger role in the future.

Bringing the entire Justice League team back together could be the simplest explanation for Justice League 2 being Jason Momoa's dream project. He has close friendships with many of the stars and seemingly enjoys working with them all. There is also the chance that the specific story that could be told will turn Momoa's dream into a reality. For instance, he could finally appear in a movie with Dwayne Johnson if Black Adam is Justice League 2's villain. The film could become an even bigger example of wish fulfillment for Momoa potentially if Zack Snyder returned to direct Justice League 2, possibly as a way to wrap up the SnyderVerse story.
