A new Easter egg has been discovered in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order that gives players a brief glimpse of Yoda in the highly acclaimed title. Combining a number of different genres together, Jedi: Fallen Order puts players in the role of Cal Kestis. The young padawan survives the extermination of the Jedi during Revenge of the Sith, with the game taking place shortly after the prequel trilogy but before the events of the original trilogy.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has also become well known for the New Journey+ mode.
The latest easter egg was uncovered in the early stages of the singleplayer story by YouTube Bombastic. Players have to go through the Tomb of Eilram level on the planet Zeffo and manipulate a particular puzzle so that a large ball is in a specific location. Once they have done this they will then have to make a very tricky jump off a ramp onto a climbable wall. Anyone who successfully manages to do this will be rewarded with access to a tunnel that contains a number of low polygon models, including Master Yoda.
Fans of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be happy to know that series is likely to continue into the future. The success of the title ensures that EA will almost certainly look to develop sequels. In fact, the publisher's CEO Andrew Wilson recently confirmed that the game was just the first entry in a completely new franchise. This means that players will get to see many more Easter eggs hidden in titles now that EA has committed to titles that are not simply focused on multiplayer.
The fact that players are still finding Easter eggs and other secrets in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order shows just how successful the game was. It is the first title developed under EA's publishing agreement with Disney that has been a hit with both critics and fans. A large part of that was the attention to detail in the in-game world and the care that the developers showed about the franchise. These types of Easter eggs are just another example of that.
