Although the vast majority of Fortnite quests provide navigational markers for weekly challenges, typically, there are a few that require a bit more legwork. The Week 7 challenge, "Search a Jewelry Case," only provides you with a vague overview of where you might find said cases, but they're actually just located in four specific areas, one in each corner of the map. Each store contains three cases, all of which can be looted for gold while alerting the nearby guards.
So far, getting rich by way of Outlaw Keycards or the new jewelry stores, there are tons of opportunities to stock up on gold. No matter what zone of the map you drop into, there are jewelry stores close on hand to rob.
All Jewelry Case Locations In Chapter 6 Season 2
There Are Four Jewelry Stores, One In Each Corner Of The Map
Although the game doesn't give you a ton of info on where each Jewelry Case is located, in reality, all you need to focus on is the four corners of the map (northwest, northeast, southwest, southeast). All Jewelry Cases can be found in Smash N' Grab jewelry shops, which are clearly marked through in-game signs. You'll need to hit these precise locations to complete the quest.
The Jewelry Case in Whiffy Wharf is located near the beach on the northwest edge of the map. You can access it from the boardwalk itself or from a platform below that leads directly up to the Smash N' Grab store. This is one of the smallest jewelry store locations on the current map, so scope it out beforehand so you don't get ambushed by another player or NPC.
The Jewelry Case in Pumped Power can be found in the northeast corner of the Chapter 6 Season 2 game world. It's actually a bit north of the primary Pumped Power building formation, in a Smash & Grab store right off the road. This location is rather spacey, so even if you get attacked while you're there, you'll be able to jump out of a window to safety quickly. You can either run into the nearby ravine to the west or back into Pumped Power proper to get your bearings and pick up some more loot.
Another Jewelry Case can be ransacked in Canyon Crossing, to the southwest. This one is on the western edge of the miniature city, up on a hill near the mountainside. Curiously, this Smash N' Grab building has multiple levels, so after you smash all three cases and grab your gold, you'll be able to run to the roof and plan your next move. Given its centralized location and how many items are in Canyon Crossing itself, this is arguably the best location to visit every match to start accumulating more wealth.
The last Jewelry Case is in Hopeful Heights, in the southeast. It's on the edge of the town near a bridge and looks very nonchalant around several other similar buildings. If you need to identify the Hopeful Heights Smash N' Grab building quickly, look for the enemy NPCs patrolling in and around it. If someone else tries to attack you while you're there, run out the back of the building, then hang east to disappear into Hopeful Heights.
Don't forget to open the cash and the safe in some nearby Jewelry Case locations for extra loot.
Rewards You Can Get From a Jewelry Case
All You Need To Do Is Interact With The Case, Then Fight Or Run
To actually "search a Jewelry Case," you must walk up to it and press the interact button. As soon as you interact with even one, the nearby Alpha Guard NPCs will activate and start attacking you. These guards are relatively weak and can be taken out with just one clip of an uncommon gun or less, but you shouldn't just start opening cases if you have low shields and health. Once you've opened a case, 200 gold will pop out for the taking. Each Smash N' Grab location can be hit three times for a total of 600 gold.

It's a good idea to start out a match by hitting one of these Smash N' Grab stores, as you'll be able to bolster your coffers, setting you up not only for the current session but future rounds, as gold carries over between games. Hoarding gold is the main theme of this season of Fortnite, and you'll be able to spend it on myriad activities, like hiring NPCs and buying items and gear from vending machines.
