Keanu Reeves rides a horse in a new set photo from John Wick: Chapter 2 and will do so again with the conclusion of this trilogy.

Thanks to the franchise's uniquely crafted world and the gun-fu action it helped coin, there's plenty of excitement for what the third film will bring next summer. Halle Berry is the big get for the sequel, but all of the set coverage has kept the focus on the leading man. And in the latest look, Wick rides like never before.

Photos from the set of John Wick: Chapter 3 recently made their way online. As shared on Twitter, Wick is taking control of the reins, literally. He's pictured riding a horse through what still appears to be the streets of New York. How and why Wick is using a horse instead of utilizing his impressive driving skills isn't clear, but it's sure to be a fun and epic moment in the film.

Whatever is the cause for these photos, this could go down as the best horse riding sequence in an action movie since John Wick franchise continues to do, the natural next step may just be gun fights on horseback through the streets of New York.

As great as Wick riding a horse may be, it is the second most important animal to be spotted during John Wick 3's production. Early set photos showed the Anjelica Huston and Jason Mantzoukas are among the great cast the film assembled. We've yet to see any of them in their roles to this point, but with production still going strong, there's still a chance. With the film not coming out until next May though, it may still be a while before we get a proper first look at John Wick: Chapter 3 and Wick's horse riding abilities.
