Spoilers Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing #4 by DC ComicsThe Joker has a brand-new son with a DC Comics hero who wants nothing to do with the Clown Prince of Crime. In Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing #4, a spell from Zatanna where she states that no one else will ever be allowed to have his baby leads to the creation of a monster that Joker claims is the magical hero's son, too.

In the new The Joker backup story in this week's Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing by Matthew Rosenberg, sco Francavilla, and Tom Napolitano from DC Comics, Zatanna runs into The Joker, who steals all the water from the Gotham River. Joker tries to romance the magic but is knocked into the mud by Zatanna, who casts a spell that "no one else will ever have your baby." While the spell is meant to stop Joker from ever procreating, it ends up leading to him getting pregnant and giving birth to a mud monster, whom he calls his son.

The Magic Spell On The Joker Ended Up Being Too Literal

While Zatanna attempted to ensure The Joker was never able to bring children into this world, by saying that "no one else" will ever have his baby, instead of just "no one," she accidentally made it possible for him to have a child with her, as it can only be hers as a result. So Joker ends up getting bizarrely pregnant and delivering birth to a mud monster, who eventually takes a human-like form. He takes his son to Zatanna and introduces him as theirs. It's a bizarre scene in a non-canon story meant to showcase the sillier side of the villain.

Zatanna Joker Son Revealed

The Three Jokers also revealed he had a long-lost son that could pop up in future DC Comics stories. The new story showcases a new son for Joker, as the Zatanna spell inadvertently creates a child with the hero.

In this case, Joker's new son with Zatanna probably won't play a significant role in future DC Comics stories, as he only exists as the product of one of her spells being too literal. Still, it remains deeply bizarre that Joker has a son with the hero, even if Zatanna has never had (or would never desire) a romantic encounter with the villain. The Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing #4 by DC Comics is in comic book stores now.
