The answer to the most pressing question currently on the minds of Jujutsu Kasien fans, namely who will win the fight between Satoru Gojo and Sukuna is simple: Gojo will die, and the manga already foreshadowed this development.
While more than a few fans might beg to differ on the inevitability of Gojo's death against Sukuna, the fact is that author Gege Akutami has foretold his death a number of times over the course of the saga. Similarly, other fans may argue that if Gojo will die it will be against Kenjaku who is the real most dangerous villain, a mastermind who has been slowly and methodically planning this situation. Again, the correct response to this is that Akutami has consistently suggested that the main climatic battle will be between Gojo and Sukuna, and that the strongest sorcerer in the world will actually die to usher in a new era where his students will pick up the torch.
Gojo's Death Against Sukuna Will Usher In A New Age Of Sorcerers
Gojo foretold his own death way back in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter #11. There, while contemplating the death of Yuji, he talks about how he isn't suited to be a teacher, but he's willing to do so if he can succeed in helping the next-gen. He believes that if he's successful, he'll be able to "reset" the "jujutsu world", which explains Gojo's recent "villainous" actions. This idea that the world won't need him anymore is further emphasized in Chapter #91 when after being relegated to the Prison Realm, Gojo first its he's messed up but then on second thought expresses confidence in the abilities of his students to get the job done whatever the challenges. Considering that most of the story has featured his students acting on their own, Gojo may be right.
Fast forward to the current battle with Sukuna where the fight is being closely watched by, among others Yuji, Yuta, Hakari, Mai, and Panda who are learning much about Sukuna as well as their own abilities. This can't be a coincidence. If Gojo thinks they are ready to lead, and by all s he does, he will have no problem dying to Sukuna, especially since he feels confident his job of changing jujutsu sciety has begun, and it will be up to them to take it forward. In fact, as Ben Kenobi did in Star Wars, he may "allow" himself to be killed if that will put the "kids" on the path to greatness he believes they can navigate.
Gojo's Death Will Allow Him To Fulfill His Role Of Mentor
This is not to say Gojo's death will not be tragic and heartbreaking. Gojo has not only uplifted and developed his student in the manga, but also for the last five years has established and developed a fandom in real life that few other contemporary manga/anime heroes can. But as depressing as his death will be to fans, it will, under his logic help to accomplish exactly what Gojo hoped to do in becoming a jujutsu teacher and mentor, namely bring positive yet fundamental change to the Jujustu Kaisen universe, and place that world in the hands of a fresh, new, capable cohort to that will genuinely welcome in the "new age of sorcery".
