The stars of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle have some Jumanji 3 casting ideas. Welcome to the Jungle has already grossed over $100 million worldwide in theaters, indicating that the film - which stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Jack Black, and Nick Jonas - is connecting with fans around the globe. As such, the sequel's cast have already begun to offer suggestions for who should show up in the (inevitable?) third Jumanji installment.

The Jumanji sequel actually lends itself very well to bringing in new actors, seeing as the characters in this version are video game representations of people playing on a game console. In this case, the movie features a bunch of teens represented by their adult avatars, as played by Johnson, Hart, Karen Gillan, Black, and Jonas. From there, the players are sucked into the video game, putting a twist on the original Jumanji movie - where an enchanted board game came to life, instead.

So, who are some potential candidates that the Welcome to the Jungle cast thinks would make cool avatars for future players in the Jumanji films? Here's what Jonas had to say, when Screen Rant interviewed him:

“I don’t know, I think there are so many ways to go about it. It’d be funny if another actor was the guy that I would be playing. Maybe someone really distinct, maybe like if Christopher Walken became my avatar.”

Jonas went on to say that he would have to work on developing some mannerisms like Walken, if that were to happen. Given how bizarre the world of Jumanji already is, Walken probably wouldn’t even be that out of place.

“The Rock”, on the other hand, took a different approach to dream-casing Jumanji 3:

“We knew it was going to be fun because then I think it opens up the world and you think 'Well, who are the other actors you want to play with?' Who can be a great high school kid and turn that high school kid into you name it. Whoever your favorite is, you know. I dunno. Chris Hemsworth or something.”

It’s probably not a big surprise Johnson would go with someone with Hemsworth’s impressive physique. Hemsworth is best known for playing the Norse god of thunder when he becomes Black Adam).

But if “The Rock” can’t get a god, he’ll settle for the son of one of the fictional legends of boxing. For his second pick, Johnson named Creed’s Michael B. Jordan, who plays the son of Rocky’s Apollo Creed. Johnson teased that Jordan should replace Hart in particular, joking that Hart’s chemistry with his costars sucked. Suffice to say, Hart didn’t agree too much with that:

“It got to me and you did something weird. My run is over?... Hold on. What? Wait a minute.”

In the case that Jumanji 3 becomes a reality, the casting crew already has some endorsements from their current actors about who should the fun.
