The sixth and supposedly final entry in the Jurassic World cast to close out the long-running franchise.

With dinosaurs now roaming and living alongside humans, the newest movie promises drama and potentially a few shocking deaths along the way. But there's also some big questions to be answered - human clones, more rogue scientists, and if Chris Pratt's "flopping like a fish" escape tactic can work more than once.

Dr. Sattler Got Married

Grant with Ellie and her husband in Jurassic Park III

Jurassic Park featured a group of scientists going to Isla Nublar to see what kind of park John Hammond had developed. Two of these scientists were Paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant and Paleobotonist Dr. Ellie Satler. The two were a couple and the end of them implied that the events of the film would allow Ellie and Alan to settle down and have kids.

In a major upset Jurassic Park III reveals that Dr. Sattler did not marry Grant. She instead married a man named Mark Degler and has two kids with them. Long-time Jurassic fans are no doubt hoping that Jurassic World: Dominion will rectify this mistake and reunite Ellie and Alan as a couple.

Maisie Lockwood

The fifth entry, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom introduces an interesting wrinkle in the franchise. Sir Benjamin Lockwood is revealed to be an old business partner of Hammonds and he has a young granddaughter whom he loves a lot. But it's revealed that she is in fact a clone; meaning, dinosaurs aren't the only clones in the world anymore.

Maisie is the reason for Hammond and Lockwoods falling out since Hammond didn't believe it was right to clone people. But Maisie's arc is coming to with the fact that, just because she's a clone, doesn't mean she isn't real or alive. The same is true for the Dinosaurs. Maisie ends up being one of the best kid characters in the Jurassic franchise.

Biosyn

Dennis Nedry was one of the head computer programmers for Jurassic Park and InGen, until he got greedy. Before his death, we discover Nedry was retrieving Dinosaur embryos for BioSyn, InGen's competitor. But all scenes involving the rival were left on the cutting room floor, it's only now they might rear their heads properly.

BioSyn is a big deal in the book that Jurassic Park is based but they haven't made a direct appearance in the franchise until now. Jurassic World: Dominion will see the return of the company in some capacity. On the surface, they look to want to save the Dinosaurs, but there is probably something more sinister going on.

Dr. Wu's Mad Scientist

B.D. Wong as Dr. Henry Wu in Jurassic World

Introduced in Jurassic Park as one of the leading scientists for InGen, Wu disappears from the film pretty early on and doesn't return till Jurassic World. He's become of the main antagonists and is directly responsible for the three hybrid dinosaurs that have been created.

Between Jurassic WorldJurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdon, most of Wu's major plans have been shrouded in mystery. Hopefully, Jurassic World: Dominion will shed some light on Wu's motivations have been.

Blue Is Genetically Defective

Owen Grady bonding with a baby Blue in Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom

Velociraptors often get some of the most exciting scenes in the Jurassic franchise. They aren't known for their empathy normally but Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom revealed an interesting wrinkle in the relationship between Owen and Blue. While the other baby raptors would attack Owen if he showed weakness, Blue did not. In fact, Blue tried to comfort Owen until he felt better.

Blue is a unique velociraptor. She was the leader of her pack in Jurassic World but Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom explained why she was always so responsive to Owen when the others weren't. Likely because she was genetically "defective"; as in, something in her creation went wrong and created an empathetic raptor. This twist added a new spin to the classic villains of the franchise.

Isla Sorna

The explorers looking at a dinosaur in The Lost World.

Site B was revealed to the audience and Dr. Ian Malcolm in The Lost World: Jurassic Park. InGen had developed the dinosaurs there and then sent them over to Isla Nublar, but the animals escaped from the island and began to flourish. Malcolm was sent there to help Hammond document the creatures to create a biological preserve.

Isla Sorna made one more on-screen appearance in Jurassic Park III but hasn't been seen since. Viral material from the newest film's marketing campaign does reveal that Masrani, who meets a tragic end in Jurassic World, captured most of the dinosaurs and brought them to Isla Sorna. It's even heavily implied that they created the main antagonist from the third film, the Spinosaurus.

The Isla Sorna Dinosaurs

Camp Cretaceous Spinosaurus

Not all the dinosaurs made it to Jurassic World, however. Eagle-eyed fans were sure to realize that if that were true then Jurassic World would have more than one T-Rex. Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous fills in this gap. The first animated series set in the Jurassic Park franchise peals more of the curtain back in its fourth season.

MantaCorp, the evil organization at the heart of the series, owns their own island and secretly captured a few dinosaurs from Isla Sorna before Masrani and InGen realized. Namely the Spinosaurus, from The Lost World: Jurassic Park, the female T. Rex, and her cub. Some viral marketing has revealed that some of these dinosaurs will make an appearance in Jurassic World: Dominion so this could be the first major crossover between the films and Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.

Dinosaur Protection Group

Claire Dearing Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom DPG

Jurassic World left Claire without a job essentially so she pivoted her life to protecting the dinosaurs on the abandoned Jurassic World on Isla Nublar. The Dinosaur Protection Group was set up by Claire to advocate for the dinosaurs since the public thought of them as property rather than living animals.

When the volcano on Isla Sorna begins to grow active, Claire lobbied the government to help save the dinosaurs from a second extinction. Unfortunately, the returning Dr. Malcolm convinced them to do nothing so Claire took the offer from Sir Lockwood to save the animals. Now that the dinosaurs are loose, the DPG could be more important than ever.

Dinosaurs Let Loose

The ending of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom changed the franchise forever. The dinosaurs were contained in a holding location in Lockwood's mansion, but poisonous gas began to leak through and they were going to suffocate. The only way to save them was to release them, which was out of the question.

Maisie Lockwood made the decision herself claiming that if she was alive then they were as well. These creatures aren't property, they're living creatures that deserve to live. Maisie realized that humans have a responsibility to these animals since it was our fault they were brought back. Jurassic World: Dominion looks to mostly deal with the fallout of this decision.

Rexy

In the course of the franchise, there have been four Tyranosourous Rex introduced. While the baby T. Rex in The Lost World: Jurassic Park is beloved, none are as loved as Rexy. The first T. Rex was a terrifying creature that ended up saving the heroes of Jurassic Park in the climactic moments of the film.

She was recaptured prior to the events of Jurassic World and once again reclaimed her place as the main feature of the franchise. In the prologue for Jurassic World: Dominion audiences were introduced to an ancient rivalry between her and the new villain of the film, Giganotosaurus. Now that she's free to roam the country, who knows what kind of trouble this old girl will get into.
