Speaking to Fisk's MCU timeline might now get multiple chapters, as D'Onofrio revealed that with the new fat suits for the character, he will continue playing Kingpin for "as long as the powers that be will have" him. Check out the full quote below:
"The only thing that could have held me back would be if I just had to keep on putting on all that weight and keep it on. And so I don't have to do that anymore, so I'm in the best shape I've been in a long time. I love these new kinds of ways that they actually construct the muscle fat suits that I have to wear. I think they finally work and feel right and look good. That helps a lot because it's not the healthiest thing in the world to keep putting weight on and taking it off again. So yeah, I mean, as long as the powers that be will have me, I can't see not playing this part, it's so much fun."

10 Best Kingpin Quotes From The MCU
Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. Kingpin, has spoken some of the MCU's most powerful and terrifying quotes since his debut in 2015's Daredevil.
Kingpin’s MCU Future Set Up So Far
The post-credits scene of Echo's finale focused on D'Onofrio's Kingpin, teasing what is next for the character in the MCU. The scene in question showed Fisk listening to the news on the TV of his private jet, learning about how New York City's mayoral race could be won by a candidate similar to himself and leaning forward at the idea of throwing his hat into the ring. Daredevil: Born Again should follow through on that tease.
The MCU series has long been rumored to feature Kingpin becoming the Mayor of New York. With the Echo tease confirming that is the direction the character is headed in, it seems like the MCU is getting ready to adapt a major comic book story. Daredevil: Born Again could lay the ground for the MCU's version of Devil's Reign, the Marvel Comics event that saw Mayor Fisk form a Thunderbolts team of villains to hunt down NYC's heroes after he outlawed vigilantes.
That story is rumored to play out in Tom Holland's Spider-Man 4. After Peter Parker's big multiversal adventure in Spider-Man: No Way Home, the character is perfectly set up for a street-level story in his next MCU movie. With both D'Onofrio and Holland having commented about how they want to see Kingpin and Spider-Man trade blows, a possible adaptation of Devil's Reign in Spider-Man 4, with Charlie Cox's Daredevil and other street-level heroes ing Spider-Man to take down Fisk, is the perfect next step for D'Onofrio's Kingpin.
