They briefly split once before when Scott cheated with a woman in Miami and was seen getting close to another woman at Kanye West’s listening party for Ye in Wyoming. The pair began dating in September 2017 after Sofia had been a long time friend of the family. Sofia and Scott’s relationships had its ups and downs over the years. Sofia received push back from her father Lionel Richie over the 15 year age-gap between her and Scott. Throughout their time together, Scott continued his struggles with substance abuse.
have been texting regularly. Scott had checked into rehab soon before their split but checked out a week later after pictures of him surfaced online. One of the leading factors in their split was where Scott’s priorities lied. It was difficult for Sofia to accept how Scott would always be most focused on his family with ex Kourtney Kardashian.
Family time may not be the only thing Scott has his eye on. Earlier this month, it was reported that vacation in Utah for his birthday. Since then, Scott has been spending lots of time with his family as he continues his recovery journey. After their trip to Utah, Scott and Kourtney were “closer than ever” and Scott feels Kourtney looks “better than ever.”
All things considered, Scott will probably continue his journey of getting better and focusing on his health. Navigating the stress of a relationship may be too much to handle at this point. Scott has been dealing with his emotional and substance abuse issues for ten years. With the world at a halt as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Scott may now have the time and space to completely deal with his issues. As for Kourtney and Scott’s relationship, it’s unlikely they’ll get back together any time soon as sources have said Kourtney is not currently interested in a romantic relationship.
