Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld's next onscreen reunion could be right around the corner after the Curb Your Enthusiasm season 12 had many guest stars and ended on a high note with a celebrated finale that featured a meta appearance from Seinfeld himself.

Larry David has hardly appeared in any other films or television shows as of late outside of Curb Your Enthusiasm, which raises a major question about what the celebrated writer and actor will do for his next project. David did appear in a few episodes of Toast of Tinseltown, an original comedy series written by and starring Matt Berry. Now that Curb Your Enthusiasm is over, it will be interesting to see what future TV shows and films David will get involved in, starting with a potential cameo in an Netflix comedy movie.

Unfrosted's Huge Cast Means Larry David Could Appear In Jerry Seinfeld's Pop-Tarts Movie

David could make a brief appearance in the star-studded Netflix comedy

Seinfeld is set to make his directorial film debut with the Netflix comedy Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story which will feature a star-studded cast that includes Melissa McCarthy, Hugh Grant, Christian Slater, Amy Schumer, Bill Burr as JFK, and many more familiar faces. It would only be fitting if Larry David ended up ing the cast of Unfrosted as well, although the famed writer and actor has not been confirmed to appear in the Netflix film.

Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story is set in a classic American setting in 1963 Michigan. The story follows what appears to be an abbreviated and satirized version of the true business rivalry between cereal giants Kellogg's and Post as the rush to develop a popular at-home breakfast pastry takes off. As both Kellogg's and Post try to create a product that will change breakfast forever, the creation of the iconic Pop-Tart is expected to be invented by the end of Seinfeld's new movie.

Unfrosted releases on Netflix on May 3, 2024.

Larry David Appearing In Unfrosted Would Break An 11-Year Movie Streak

David last played a character in a movie in 2013's Clear History

Kate Hudson, Larry David, and John Hamm stand together in a scene for Clear History

If Larry David does have a small character role in Unfrosted, it would be the first movie in which he has appeared as someone other than himself since 2013's Clear History. David played a disgraced marketing executive named Nathan who changes his name to Rolly in HBO's original film Clear History, which also stars John Hamm, Bill Hader, Kate Hudson, Danny McBride, and Michael Keaton. David appearing in Seinfeld's directorial debut Unfrosted would be fitting after their Curb Your Enthusiasm reunion.
