As the Season 4 finale of CW's hit supernatural series Legacies nears, one of the largest questions still looming is what Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose-Russell) will do now that her humanity is turned off. Not taking the decision lightly, the reason Hope chose to turn off her humanity was so that she can feel less pain and live a more carefree lifestyle, likely due to the tragic Landon situation.

With her humanity stripped, Hope has become darker, more aggressive, hyper-violent, and far less ethical than she was in human form, leading to a cadre of transgressions that would likely make Klaus and Hayley pretty disappointed.

Brutally Attacks Alaric

Hope attacks her squad in Legacies

Once Hope is forced to kill Landon, the person that she loves, she immediately switches off her humanity to rid the pain, grief, and profound sense of loss. She also begins alienating those who care for her the most, including a vicious attack on her longtime ally, mentor, and father-figure, Alaric Saltzman (Matthew Davis) on the beloved CW supernatural/fantasy show.

Hope does this to send a clear message to her friends to stay away from her and refrain from attacking her. Shortly after, Hope also its to being Klaus' daughter through and through, recognizing the evil side of the bloodline from which she descends.

Tortures A Man For Fun

After savagely attacking Alaric with her humanity turned off, Hope starts to feel pretty good about herself. To celebrate, she frequents a bar, lewdly dances with a local, imbibes alcohol, and has no qualms about feeding on bodies in public. However, it's the merciless torture of a lowly henchman that takes the cake.

Inside the bar, Hope begins launching darts at a nondescript Triad Industries employee and starts tormenting him in extremely wicked and humane ways. The action is mean, shallow, and a clear sign that Hope has lost all sense of sympathy for humanity.

Rejects Her Family

Another terrible thing Hope does upon losing her humanity is outright rejecting her family and closest loved ones. With her emotions sealed off, Hope rudely refuses Aunt Rebekah's (Claire Holt) help and demands that everyone in the Mikaelson family stay away from her at all costs.

Once again identifying with her father's negative side, Hope deliberately avoids her family so she can avoid making Klaus' biggest mistake (in her eyes), which was following love and caring for his kin. By consciously cutting Rebekah out of her life, Hope ensures she has little allyship in the future. Here's hoping the finale lives up to some of the best and not worst CW TV show finales of all time.

Deliberately Endangers Ryan Clarke

Hope and Ryan face to face in Legacies

Growing more aggressive and isolated as time goes on in her non-human form, the next sinful act Hope engages in is deliberately endangering her so-called friend Ryan Clarke (Nick Fink). Doing so for her own callous amusement, the flagrant act puts the newly human Ryan in a precarious place.

In trying to determine which side of Ryan is truest - his normal human form or the son of Malivore - Hope is really looking for an accomplice to help her take on the Triad. To co-opt Ryan as her partner, Hope makes his life a living hell by ruining his job, relationship, and overall sense of wellbeing.

Lashes Out At MG & Cleo

Cleo holds a maple leaf on Legacies

Another cold and misguided decision Hope makes with her humanity turned off is the way she treats her close friend MG (Quincy Fouse) when he tries to flip the switch and make her human again. She rapidly dismisses his attempt to humanize her before lashing out at Cleo (Omono Okojie) in an even ruder fashion.

When Cleo tries to read aloud the final letter written by Landon before his tragic death, Hope quickly grows bored of the recital and proceeds to verbally abuse Cleo. Even Finch (Courtney Bandeko) catches Hope's irascible ire in the scene.

Forgets About Landon

Landon sits in a jail cell on Legacies

While it's somewhat understandable as a way to heal her heart and forget about her past trauma, arguably the worst thing Hope does after turning off her humanity is overtly forgetting about her romantic partner Landon Kirby (Aria Shahghasemi).

This is reinforced time and again when Hope is in her non-human form, including the dismissal of his farewell letter and her overall sense of nihilism. Rather than reflect on her time with Landon with heartfelt pathos and meaningful honor, Hope chooses to forget the most significant romance in her life in order to be a bitter, hard-partying teen.

Threatens Ethan & Finch

MG, Finch, and Ethan stand in the museum on Legacies

Almost immediately after ignoring MG and berating Cleo in one of the best episodes of Legacies, Hope turns her aggressive ire on Ethan (Leo Howard) and Finch when they plan a sneak attack. Considered her friend in the past, Hope physically fights Ethan and verbally threatens to kill him for his so-called traitorous actions.

While she voices her desire to end their life for attacking her, Hope wisens up and refrains from killing Ethan and Finch. Still, by verbally expressing her desire to kill, Hope's non-human form is careening dangerously toward the irreversible dark side.

Traps Josie In The Therapy Box

Hope holds a matchstick on Legacies

On the positive side of having her humanity turned off, Hope can't find it within herself to kill the ones closest to her. Following an attack from Dark Josie Saltzman (Kaylee Bryant), Hope's non-human form dolled out a different form of punishment other than death.

Rather than lethally avenging Dark Josie's onslaught, Hope placed Josie's subconscious in the magical Therapy Box, a device meant to rehab the warped psychological state of whoever is trapped inside. It's slightly more humane than many of Hope's non-human sins, but it still shows she can't let grudges go without some sort of retaliation.
