Cassian Andor will be one of the playable characters in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga that will be added to the game via a DLC character pack. As part of the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story cast, Cassian Andor will be available along with several other characters from the film. Although not currently playable, Cassian Andor will be unlocked automatically for any player that purchases the Rogue One DLC character pack when it's released.
All available able content can be viewed by choosing the second to last option on the in-game main menu screen. Each new DLC pack can be purchased separately, or players can buy LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga's Character Collection pack. This DLC pack costs $14.99 and includes seven different character sets, including the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story characters. These characters are set to release on April 19, 2022.
The two individual character packs released so far both cost $2.99, so it's likely that the Rogue One characters will be the same price. However, the Rogue One pack won't be available for purchase until it's released on April 19. If players want to make sure they have Cassian Andor unlocked right away, they will need to purchase the Character Collection DLC pack.
How To Unlock Rogue One Characters In LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
As soon as the DLC pack is released, all Rogue One characters will be unlocked, including Cassian Andor. Unlike most of the playable characters in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the DLC characters do not need to be purchased with Studs after unlocking them. Cassian Andor was a Captain for the Rebels in Rogue One, so he will most likely be included in the Hero character class and share their abilities.
Heroes in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga are able to use specific terminals and don disguises. Characters in the Hero class also have Grapple Blasters that can be used to pull down orange hooks or grapple to climbing points. Heroes have a few skills that can be upgrauded using Kyber Bricks and Studs. Currently, Cassian Andor's class is not yet confirmed, but he may end up ing the Hero class once the DLC pack is released.
Along with Cassian Andor, there are six other Rogue One characters being released in the DLC pack. Jyn Erso, K-2SO, Bodhi Rook, Chirrut Îmwe, Baze Malbus, and Director Orson Krennic will also be unlocked. Although Cassian Andor is not yet a playable character in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, the wait won't be too long before players can start exploring the galaxy with him. The Rogue One: A Star Wars Story DLC pack will be available on April 19, 2022.
