TC-14 is one of many droid characters that players can unlock in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and is a returning character from the original LEGO Star Wars game. Having served on the Trade Federation Ship that Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan were aboard in Episode I - The Phantom Menace, TC-14 is one of the most recognizable droids in the franchise. Though she was a character that was automatically unlocked in some past games, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga makes players have to unlock her through alternative means.

TC-14 is part of the Protocol Droid character class in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, giving her all of the accompanying abilities. Protocol Droids can use a disassembly move that releases a shockwave as the droids remove the top half of their bodies, allowing players to control both areas separately. They also have access to unique terminals in the game that sometimes have turrets available, and can automatically translate the language of any character. Additionally, Protocol Droids like TC-14 also have a chance to deflect bolts fired from enemy weapons.

Stranded on Theed after the Trade Federation ship exploded at the end of The Phantom Menace, TC-14 was left alone with her memory wiped after being transported down by a Neimoidian. Despite the imminent explosion, this LEGO Star Wars Droid refused to leave her post, so TC-14's owner had deactivated her and wiped her memory to transport her off-world. The side quest, Mysterious Endeavor, is all about finding the Neimoidan who wiped her memory in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

On Theed, speak with TC-14 in an alleyway near one of the buildings that can be entered in the city. The Neimoidian will be seen in the background, running away from the location. Track him down, and speak to the NPCs along the way with green exclamation points over their heads to find his location. Speak to the Neimodian in the next alleyway, and he'll use a smoke bomb to try and get away. Attacking him enough times will prevent him from running, and completing the quest as he speaks with TC-14 informing her of the events that transpired.

For 35,000 Studs in LEGO Star Wars, players can purchase TC-14 from the Protocol Droid menu after the quest has been completed. She'll already come equipped with any class upgrades that have been previously acquired for Protocol Droids and will become available to use for any Free Play missions and side quests.
