Developer Sucker Punch Productions released multiplayer mode of the game, players can control characters of different classes instead of the single-player character, Jin Sakai.

In Legends, players will need to manage two leveling systems: Rank and Ki. Both of these systems are very important to prepare a player for difficult missions, as well as the Tale of Iyo raids. Rank up to become more powerful and pose a bigger threat to other players and enemies.

Ki levels are similar to Power Levels in Destiny 2. It’s dependent on how powerful a player’s weapons are. In technical , a player’s Ki is the average Ki of the items they have on their person at a time. Different missions have different recommended Ki levels, with top tier basic missions having a Ki level of 85, and a requirement of Ki level 90 for weekly missions. 

There are three different tiers of missions that players can complete, with bronze missions rewarding players with gear that maxes out at 35, silver missions with gear that maxes out at 80, and with gold missions with gear that maxes out at 105. As for campaign missions, players will earn a chest that contains gear after they finish every chapter. Players will also be able to get a chest every five waves. 

When enough currency has been collected in-game, players will be able to upgrade some of their weaker gear. Make sure that all of a character’s gear is maxed out and at its highest possible Ki level to raise the average Ki level.

Players will have a level for each class, called their rank. Players will only be able to rank up by gaining experience points. They can only gain experience points by completing missions. Play as much as possible to rank up. With four different rank levels, players will need to dedicate some time to playing each class and gaining as much XP as possible. 

Once players have enough XP and Ki, they should be able to take on any mission they set their minds to. Level up as much as possible before the Tale of Iyo raids are released to have an advantage over other players in the game.
