Leverage revival show Leverage: Redemption, which dropped on Freevee before moving to Prime Video after two seasons. The show has currently ed the halfway point of season 3, and Riesgraf, who plays Parker on the show, has given her thoughts on the chances of a renewal.

ScreenRant's Grant Hermanns sat down with Leverage: Redemption star Beth Riesgraf, and got her views on the possibility of the show returning for a fourth season. Riesgraf revealed that Leverage: Redemption has not been officially renewed yet, despite season 3 ing the halfway point. She went on to praise the show and discussed how more subscribers on Amazon could help to improve the show's chances of gaining more viewers and secure a renewal. Check out Riesgraf's full comments below:

"No, not yet. But let's get it going, people. Let's talk about this. Huh? We've got to get the Nana episode. I mean spread the word. If you guys like the show, I just say spread the word. The more subscriptions that Amazon gets, the better the chances are, I think, because they'll see that people show up for this show, and these characters, and that they really care. It's so fun. We're all grateful for how much we've gotten to do on the show, how far we've gotten to take it. So, obviously, full gratitude on that, but it would be so fun to keep going."

What This Means For Leverage: Redemption's Future

The Move To Prime Will Make Or Break The Show

Leverage: Redemption continued the fun and complex plotlines of the original show, and has managed to do a commendable job of reviving the series almost a decade later. While the first two seasons of the show aired on Freevee, it is the move to Prime that will really prove decisive. This will expose the show to a wider audience, which would be instrumental in securing a renewal. Riesgraf's comments suggest the cast are unaware of whether the show will last beyond Leverage: Redemption season 3, but this doesn't mean that a renewal is not on the cards.

Leverage: Redemption season 3 is currently available to stream on Prime Video.

The current season is exploring a range of diverse stories, and being able to connect with a wider audience should help to improve the show's chances of renewal. If the show is well-received and picks up the audience share Amazon is hoping for, there is a good chance that Leverage: Redemption season 4 will get a renewal. That said, per Riesgraf's comments reveal, it's best to temper expecations until it's official.

Our Take On Leverage: Redemption's Season 4 Chances

The Show Has Scope For Further Success

Beth Riesgraf's Parker and Gina Bellman's Sophie talking to someone at a cafe in Leverage: Redemption season 3

Leverage: Redemption is a show that has explored complex issues, interesting characters, and morally gray choices, alongside elaborate cons, making it a fun and interesting show. There is certainly enough scope to see the series return for more seasons, and Redemption could even match the five-season run of the original show. A strong season on Prime should be enough to secure Leverage: Redemption at least one more renewal, but a decision might not be made until the season has concluded.
