A digital artist reimagined Loki, Thor, and Mobius as Hanna-Barbera cartoon characters. Hanna-Barbera Productions was responsible for hit classic shows such as The FlintstonesThe JetsonsSuper Friends, and many more notable cartoons. Television has come a long way since the '60s, but several Hanna-Barbera cartoons are still a huge part of pop culture today.

While the Disney+ show focuses on the variant Loki that escaped with the Tesseract in 2012, the Disney+ series has introduced several other Lokis from alternate timelines. Sylvie, the female Loki, was one of the main characters in the series, but the show would later introduce Classic Loki, Kid Loki, Boastful Loki, and Alligator Loki. The reptilian version is possibly the most intriguing since it has no given backstory like some of the other variants. The idea of alternate timelines has opened the door for endless possibilities of Loki variants, which means there are just as many opportunities for fun fan art.

The Jetsons, angrily pursues a running Loki variant. The escaping alligator variant wears Loki's headpiece and a large smile that not only is characteristic of mischievous cartoon characters of the era but also somehow fits into the tone of Loki.

While the artwork may seem a bit strange or farfetched, Marvel has chosen to go retro with its characters before. The majority of Wandavision was spent traversing through episodes styled in the formats of popular television shows from past decades. Even Frog Thor, which originated in a 1966 comic, made a short cameo in episode 5, along with countless other easter eggs to Marvel lore. The fate of Alligator Loki isn't known, but it is possible the character could return in Loki season 2 given the fan response to the character.

If Alligator Loki were to return, it would be fun to see AlligaThor as well. AlligaThor may not be an actual character from Marvel comics, but a scene in Loki season 2 showing AlligaThor and Alligator Loki could be a fun way to expand on the alligator variant of Loki. It is a bit unlikely that AlligaThor will ever become a big character in an MCU project, but with the Sacred Timeline being fractured, anything is possible at this point.
