Netflix’s newest original film Look Both Ways is a romantic fantasy that follows young and ambitious Natalie as her life splits into two parallel universes after an unexpected pregnancy scare. In one universe, she is an expectant mother dealing with the trials of motherhood while also remaining in a relationship with the baby’s father. In the other universe, she is single and living in L.A. trying to achieve her dream career and meets a dashing co-worker whom she begins to fall for.

The ensemble of Look Both Ways have all had a very impressive list of credits to their name before coming together on this film which debuts on Netflix on August 17th. This innovative rom-com features a cast of very talented actors who might be recognizable to some viewers, but hard to place for others.

Lili Reinhart – Riverdale (2017-Present)

Lili Reinhart gained mass attention for taking on the role of Betty Cooper in the CW teen drama series, Riverdale. The show is a modern rei-magining of the beloved Archie comics, but with darker supernatural elements, leading to fans often likening it to a teen version of Twin Peaks.

By playing the iconic girl-next-door for six consecutive seasons, Reinhart has proven countless times that her charm and talent resonate well with audiences. The actor is a perfect choice to lead a romantic comedy since her character’s love life on Riverdale is one of the most popular elements on the show. With the addition of fantasy elements in the later seasons, Reinhart has had plenty of experience to handle the more outlandish narrative of Look Both Ways.

As the dashing and inherently sweet Hollywood character Jack, Corenswet did an amazing job conveying the duality of the role. His magnanimous screen presence and ability to cause audiences to swoon make his casting as the romantic lead a no-brainer.

The Bold Type is a comedy-drama series that follows three best friends as they work for a popular women’s magazine called Scarlet. Aisha Dee portrays Kat Edison, Scarlet’s free-spirited social media director who begins to explore her sexuality over the course of the series.

The show was a favorite amongst Freeform viewers, mostly due to its honest and comical depiction of female friendships and The Bold Type's depiction of young professionals. Dee was a huge boon for the show, as the actress was nominated twice for a Teen Choice Award for her performance.

Luke Wilson is a seasoned actor that has amassed a long list of notable films and TV credits. Along with his brothers Owen and Scott, Wilson has been a staple in the film industry over the past two decades.

Andrea Savage led the TruTV comedy series I’m Sorry, which followed an immature and often chaotic mother trying to navigate adulthood. In addition to staring as the lead character, Savage created and produced the series. Despite positive reviews, I’m Sorry was canceled after two seasons.

With Savage's experience playing a mother, she does an unsurprisingly incredible job with her role as Natalie's mom in Look Both Ways. The actor does a great job making sure her performance is understated and unapologetically sweet in order to set her two characters apart and show off her impressive range as an actress.
