Nevertheless, they serve as rare items that players can collect to complete their Adventurer's Tome and earn valuable rewards, such as Gustaven's Holy Water or the rare Prideholme Neria Card.
Western players of Lost Ark may potentially acquire one or more Portal Stones along their journey throughout the regions of Rethramis as they complete side quests and hunt monsters. The reason is that Portal Stones and other Rethramis Collectibles have no fixed drop rate from a specific monster. Instead, they can be randomly obtained from any enemy throughout the continent, from Moss Wolves to Raider Leaders. As a result, the likelihood that players will receive Portal Stones from a regular mob, field mini-bosses, or a World Boss will heavily rely on RNG.
Although the lore description of the Portal Stones cites Loghill, this mention does not guarantee that farming enemies within this area have an increased chance of finding the drop. Yet, a good strategy would be to focus on farming a zone where enemies with rare loot drops spawn. Such a location would include the lower zones of Loghill. Still, if Lost Ark fans in the West find little to no luck in procuring Collectibles within an area, they should try farming other regions, dungeons, or bosses for diversifying their RNG drops.
How To Get Portal Stones In Lost Ark
Alternatively, players may also be able to purchase Portal Stones from other players via the Auction House. This method may prove quite costly, depending on the server the player is on. Accordingly, farming gold to make these Collectible exchanges may be more worthwhile than farming the Collectible itself, yet this perspective will depend on a player's preference. While the best way to make gold quickly is ultimately within the endgame content, Lost Ark players can repeatedly queue for high-difficulty instances to obtain valuable gear. Then, with the goods they've acquired, they make carry offers to other players in exchange for a sum of gold, depending on the item's value.
Yet, if Lost Ark players on Steam still wish to grind enemy drops as their primary means of getting Portal Stones, choosing the best PvE class options may be helpful in their endeavor. Such classes include the powerful Bard, the tanky damage-dealing Gunlancer, and the high DPS Berserker.
