Superfan and beloved actress Felicia Day is set to host the official Peter Jackson's original trilogy finished its run, the streaming service is revisiting Tolkien's world and exploring the Second Age.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power explores how the iconic rings were forged while also casting a bigger spotlight on Sauron's rise to power. With Galadriel as one of the primary characters, the Amazon Prime series also tells the story of the fall of Númenor. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 1 is nearing its end, with only one episode left to air, which will be released globally next week on the streaming service. The fantasy epic is only getting started, though, as The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 2 began filming this week as part of Amazon Prime's 5-season commitment.

As The Rings of Power season 1 closes out, Screen Rant can exclusively reveal that Amazon Prime is expanding its library for the series. On October 14, Prime Video and Amazon Music are launching The Official The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Podcast, with 8 episodes being released right after the season finale. The podcast will be hosted by none other than Felicia Day, a massive Tolkien fan and star in her own right. The Supernatural and The Magicians alum takes viewers inside the makings of the show, as The Official The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Podcast not only breaks down the show to its core, but also interviews multiple cast and crew . Screen Rant can confirm that the list consists of Morfydd Clark (Galadriel), Ismael Cruz Cordova (Arondir), Sophia Nomvete (Princess Disa), Charlie Vickers (Halbrand), showrunners JD Payne and Patrick McKay, as well as composer Bear McCreary.

Day shared her excitement about hosting the companion podcast, which is produced by Wondery and Pineapple Street Studios, in the following statement:
