Ciarán Hinds, best known for his role as Mance Rayder in the HBO mega-hit Game of Thrones, comes to Middle-earth in season 2 of The Rings of Power. Hinds is a prolific film, television, and theater actor who’s been cast in dozens of projects. In movies, Hinds appears in Miami Vice as FBI Agent John Fujima, Justice League as the DC villain Steppenwolf, and Belfast as “Pop," a role which earned him SAG, Golden Globe, and Academy Award nominations for Best ing Actor. On television, Hinds played Julius Caesar in Rome and starred in The Terror as Sir John Franklin.
Rory Kinnear In An Unknown Role
Rory Kinnear appears in season 2 of The Rings of Power in an unknown role. Kinnear has had an impressive career playing mostly ing characters in significant movies and TV shows. He’s best known for playing Prime Minister Michael Callow in the first episode of Black Mirror, Prime Minister Nicol Trowbridge in The Diplomat, and Bill Tanner in the Daniel Craig era of the James Bond franchise. Additionally, Kinnear played multiple characters in the movie Men.

Ben Daniels is announced to appear in The Rings of Power season 2 as an as-yet-unnamed character. Daniels has had a long and successful career in television and movies. His most notable roles include Adam Galloway on House of Cards and Anthony Armstrong-Jones in season 3 of The Crown.
Sam Hazeldine As Adar
While Adar is not new to the cast of The Rings of Power, the actor playing the original Elf-turned-orc is.
