The sequel seems him on a mission to avenge his murdered partner and tasked by the President to take down a revolutionary - which only reveals a wackier plot. Michelle Rodriguez as Luz
Another returning player to the Machete Kills cast and character list is Michelle Rodriguez's Luz, the head of an illegal immigrant movement called The Network. Demián Bichir steals the show in Machete Kills as Mendez, a revolutionary with a split personality. There's more to Mendez's story than meets the eye, however, and he's being manipulated by other forces. Bichir has many notable credits to his name, including The Hateful Eight and Godzilla Vs Kong.
