Madden NFL 24 will be taking the field before long, with many different editions available for players to purchase. At the time of writing, all editions of Madden NFL 24 are available for pre-order. The pre-order window closes on the game's final release date: August 18, 2023. However, players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition receive three days of early access, and so can start playing Madden NFL 24 as early as August 15. Players subscribed to EA Play Early Access or EA Play Pro can also take advantage of the three-day early access window. Madden 24 will be released on both last-gen and current-gen consoles: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Madden NFL 24 Standard Edition Pre-Order Bonuses

The Standard Edition of Madden NFL 24 is the most modestly-priced release of the game, coming in at $69.99 USD on release. However, players who are subscribed to EA Play at any tier will receive a 10% discount, bringing the price down to $62.99.

There are just a handful of pre-order bonuses that come with the Standard Edition of Madden 24, the first of which is the Josh Allen Elite Player Item. This is an in-game player card that allows players to recruit Madden 24 cover star Josh Allen to their Ultimate Teams. Players who pre-order the Standard Edition will also gain access to an additional player customization item: the NFL Marble Bills Gear. This is a white, marbled jersey similar to ones worn by the Buffalo Bills. They're also entitled to their choice of two Strategy Items: one from the offense category, and one from defense. These items can be equipped by an Ultimate Team to boost the stats of the entire lineup.

The Deluxe Edition of Madden NFL 24 is significantly more expensive than the Standard Edition, but it comes with many more bonuses. This year, the Deluxe Edition is a digital exclusive; there's no way to buy it physically. Madden NFL 24's Deluxe Edition costs $99.99, but with an EA Play subscription, that price drops to $89.99. Players receive all the bonuses of Madden NFL 24's Standard Edition with the Deluxe Edition: the Josh Allen Elite Player Item, the Marble Bills Gear, and the choice of two Strategy Items. Dual Entitlement for cross-generational upgrades is also available with the Deluxe Edition of Madden 24.

With the Deluxe Edition of Madden NFL 24, players also get access to a handful of additional bonuses. They can start playing the game early with the August 15, 2023, early release date regardless of their subscription status with EA Play. The Hall of Fame Item appears to be a player card, featuring a renowned, recruitable player drawn from the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Superstar Celebration is effectively an emote, an end zone dance or gesture that in-game players can perform after a touchdown.

The Deluxe Loyalty Edition of Madden NFL 24 is exclusive to players who have played recent, previous editions of Madden: Madden 21, 22, and 23 are included in the offer. In order to claim it, players simply have to use the link in any of the above games' menus to access the appropriate online game store and purchase the Deluxe Loyalty Edition.

The Deluxe Loyalty Edition is mostly the same as the Deluxe Edition, with access to the early release, 4,600 Madden Points, the AKA Player Item, the Josh Allen Player Item, two Strategy Items, and the Marble Bills Gear, along with the Hall of Fame Item and Superstar Celebration if pre-ordered by August 17. Players also get 10% off Madden NFL 24 with the Deluxe Loyalty Edition, coming in at $89.99, and a 99 OVR rating Golden Ticket Player Fantasy Item of their choice.

Madden NFL 24 Additional Rewards For EA Play Subscribers

There are additional rewards with any edition of Madden NFL 24 for EA Play Subscribers. Besides the early access that comes with certain tiers, and the 10% discount with all tiers, subscribers also get 10% off any future purchases of Ultimate Team Pack players. Base level EA Play subscribers also receive the Launch Welcome Pack of Player Items for their Ultimate Team, and free monthly Ultimate Team Packs for the foreseeable future. They'll also get a handful of cosmetic Vanity rewards for player customization.

EA Play Pro Subscribers get all that, plus 500 Madden points for each daily for the entire first year of Madden NFL 24's release, from August 2023 to July 2024. This offer ends around the time Madden 25 will likely be releasing, so that means a steady income of Madden Points for what's basically the game's entire shelf life.
