The  Adventures in the Forgotten Realms set will add iconic characters from the most popular D&D campaign setting to the game. Two new cards from the set will be revealed during the 300th episode of the Dragon Talk podcast, which will be released on June 11, 2021, at 11:00 AM PT. The episode will focus on the different D&D announcements that have been made over the past week, including the Wild Beyond the Witchlight adventure and the content roap for Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance.

Dungeons & Dragons Magic the Gathering Drizzt Card

There have been spoilers for the Adventures in the Forgotten Realms set released online, so some of the characters have been revealed. Drizzt Do'Urden and Bruenor Battlehammer from the Legends of Drizzt series will appear as Legendary Creature cards; Lolth the Spider Queen is a planeswalker, the power word kill spell is an Instant, and the Portable Hole is an Artifact. The most exciting card in the set might be the Vorpal Sword, which is an Artifact that can be enchanted with 8 mana in order to cause a target player to lose the game, so long as they struck by its wielder.

The fact that Dark Alliance is coming out soon means that more Legend of Drizzt characters could be announced, like Catti-brie or Wulfgar. It's also possible that some of the highly-anticipated characters from the Forgotten Realms lore could also be revealed, like Elminster or the Simbul. Minsc from the Baldur's Gate series would also be a popular choice for a card. Fans will know for sure soon, as the 300th episode of Dragon Talk will be released later today.
