Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, older sister of Reality TV star Pumpkin shares the babies, plus daughter Ella, 4, and son Bentley, almost 1, with husband Josh Efird, who she married in 2018. It's been a little over a month since Pumpkin gave birth via C-section at a Georgia hospital, but now, she's ready to show off her bundles of joy.
Rumors began swirling in April that the Efird household would be growing by two in the middle of June. These rumors proved almost correct, with Stella entering the world at 8:50 a.m. on May 19 weighing 6 lbs 1 oz, directly followed by Sylus at 5 lbs 4 oz. Throughout the entirety of her pregnancy, Pumpkin, 22, remained mute on the matter. There were no updates on social media and no grand announcement when the babies were born. Given the controversy surrounding Mama June Shannon, it makes sense that Pumpkin would want to keep this major life update out of the spotlight, especially since Bentley had yet to turn 1.
After taking a month to adjust to life as a mother of two new little ones, Pumpkin is sharing some adorable first pictures of her twins with the public. dad of five, including Alana. Pumpkin told The Sun, "The family is really happy. Things have been stressful adjusting to three babies under 1-year-old and just five kids in general, but it's nothing me and Josh can't handle. This just means life is a little more hectic, but will be so worth it in the end."
Thankfully, Pumpkin has Alana and their older sister Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon on hand to babysit, as well as from her aunt Jo "Doe Doe" Shannon. According to The Masked Singer with Alana, June forced her daughter to travel home alone so that she could visit her love interest at the time, a 24-year-old named Jordan.
Though raising three babies, a toddler, and teenager will be no easy feat for Pumpkin, she seems determined to be a better mother than June. When Pumpkin learned that Alana, 16, was talking to 20-year-old Dralin Carswell, she ed him privately to set boundaries and ensure he didn't mean her sister any harm. Josh is also extremely protective over the former Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star, a trait that will surely carry over to his biological children.
