Here are all the characters who appeared in Baby Yoda continue their hunt for other Mandalorians, but things got dicey when they encountered a pair of New Republic X-Wings.

Since their Mandalorian lead on Tatooine ended up being a bust, Din had to find another way to track down his people in an effort to learn more about Baby Yoda's people. Fortunately, he got another one thanks to Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris), but it came with a price. Left with no other choice, Mando agreed, resulting in a series of unexpected catastrophes for him and the Child.

On top of the expected characters, The Mandalorian season 2, episode 2 unexpectedly brought back some players from past seasons. At the same time, new characters debuted, as well. Here's all the cast and characters who starred or cameoed in The Mandalorian season 2, episode 2.

Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin/The Mandalorian

As the titular character, much of The Mandalorian season 2, episode 2's focus was on Din Djarin played by Pedro Pascal. Previously seen on the small screen via Game of Thrones and Narcos, he was also in movies such as Kingsman: The Golden Circle, and Triple Frontier. His next big screen appearance will be in Wonder Woman 1984.

Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto

Introduced in The Mandalorian season 1, episode 5, Peli Motto, played by Amy Sedaris, returned during the season 2 premiere as Din and Baby Yoda found themselves back in Tatooine. She once again appears in episode 2, helping Mando get a new lead for his mission. The actress is best known for Strangers with Candy, BoJack Horseman, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. She currently spearheads her own comedy series, At Home with Amy Sedaris.

Misty Rosas & Dee Bradley Baker as Frog Lady

The Mandalorian season 2, episode 2 debuted the Frog Lady — Din's enger who has information about where he can find other Mandalorians. The character is portrayed by Misty Rosas, who also did the motion capture for Kuiil in the first two episodes of season 1. She is best known for her work in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Van Helsing among others.

Meanwhile, Dee Bradley Baker provided the voice for the Frog Lady. A seasoned voice actor, he previously provided the voice of Captain Rex in both Star Wars Rebels. His other credits include Avatar: The Last Airbender, American Dad!, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Gravity Falls.

Richard Ayoade as Zero the droid

Q9-0 aka Zero, the droid voiced by Richard Ayoade, makes a surprising return in The Mandalorian season 2, episode 2 after Frog Lady used his remaining parts to communicate with Din. Zero was introduced last season as part of Ranzar Malk's crew who betrayed Din during a mission. Ayoade played Moss for four seasons on The IT Crowd. He's also provided the voice for the ice cream cone in The LEGO Movie 2 

Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as Captain Carson Teva

During his journey in The Mandalorian season 2, episode 2, Din was unable to use the hyperdrive to keep Frog Lady's eggs safe. Because of this, two X-Wing pilots from the New Republic caught on to him to check his identification — one of which is Captain Carson Teva played by Paul Sun-Hyung Lee. The Korean-Canadian actor is best known for his roles in Train 48 and Kim's Convenience — both the stage play and its TV adaptation.

Dave Filoni as Trapper Wolf

Executive producer Dave Filoni reprises his role as X-Wing pilot Trapper Wolf in The Mandalorian season 2, episode 2. Wolf ed Carson in hunting down Din after Mando was unable to prove that he's not a remnant of the Empire. After spearheading animated shows like Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, Filoni is also directing certain episodes of The Mandalorian.
