The memories scattered around Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope clue the player into the lore of each planet and the characters. Just as Beacon Beach has plenty of memories to uncover across the map, so too does Pristine Peaks, an icy mountain biome full of crannies and breakable walls hiding probes. The various caves and paths snaking around the map can make exploration difficult, so this guide can narrow down probe locations and useful side quests.
The most important thing for players to as they look for probes is the inclusion of Decibel, the Spark that absorbs itself into Beep-O and unlocks a sonic wave ability during exploration. Players can break open blocks, move platforms, and smash down cracked walls. Those walls are the only way to complete the main story and defeat the planet's boss, Midnite. Some probes are hidden behind these breakable walls, so players need to keep an eye out for them while in exploration mode.
Pristine Peaks Memories in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope and How to Unlock Them
- Squashers - A fat Rabbid enemy with a Thwomp on its back. This probe is hidden behind a breakable wall near a patrolling Flamin' Stooge. The area is south of Dr. Vent's igloo, up the path.
- The Path to the Mask Mountain - The difficulties of exploring Pristine Peaks and the mountain itself. After defeating "The Darkmess Under The Mountain" and walking back down the path, turn left into a little alcove. The probe is hidden within.
- A Gate to Another World - The Secret Zones of each planet, containing Sparks similar to Regenesis of the "Hide N' Squeak" quest. The probe is on a cliff above the secret zone, accessible through a white pipe leading to a ladder.
- The Winter Palace - The location of Rabbid Rosalina and Midnite. The probe is on a balcony overlooking the library where the boss battle occurs.
- Captain Orion - The warden of Pristine Peaks, a round ship's captain with a mustache. Upon entering the Winter Palace, head into the bottom right corner and claim the probe.
- Galactic Atlas: Pristine Peaks - The official description of Pristine Peaks. The memory is rewarded after completing the Blue Coin Challenge. The entrance to the challenge area is near the "Toad Trouble on Pristine Peaks" quest.
- Deep Freezes - An icy blue take on the Wildclaw enemy seen in the Beacon Beach boss battle. This is one of two memories players can purchase from Salesbot 9.99+TX for one planet coin.
- Lone Wolves - A wolf enemy capable of striking characters while they move. This is the second memory in Salesbot 9.99+TX's shop.
- Midnite - A ghostly Spark Hunter and the main boss of Pristine Peaks, found within the Winter Palace. Like all boss battles, her memory is revealed after the players defeat her.
- Luigi - A discussion on Luigi's play style and characteristics. Players discover this memory after completing the "Brothers in Arms" quest, which restricts them to using Mario and his dual pistols & Luigi with his bow.
- Rabbid Peach - A page on how Rabbid Peach's influencer personality plays into her healing power and her violence. Her description is unlocked by playing "The Diva and the Bookworm", in which Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Rosalina team up.
- Dr. Vent - An esoteric Rabbid scientist who became erratic after just three days alone on the mountain. Appropriately earned after completing his side quest "Dr. Vent's Frozen Oddity" and having Zephyrstar, a purple Spark, the team.
Pristine Peaks transforms from a harsh mountain adventure to a winter wonderland as the main story progresses. The memories hidden around the map provide detail not only on the planet but on important overarching game elements. Players focused on the lore of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope over strategically improving characters will love collecting the memories of their winter getaway on Pristine Peaks.
