Married At First Sight season 18’s couples haven’t been having an easy time throughout the early phases of the experiment, as they’ve all been struggling to build a foundation to connect on. While all of the participants have been hopeful that their interest in getting married would be able to help them move into a steady relationship once the formality was over, their connections have been slow to grow and the experts have been nowhere to be found. For couples like Camille and Thomas, things have been steady enough on their own, but others like Michelle and David need help.

The MAFS Experts Have Been On The Show Less Than Ever

Throughout the MAFS season 18 matchmaking special early in the season, they’ve been virtually absent from the majority of the rest of the season thus far.

Without much input from the MAFS experts, the couples have been struggling to define their issues and discuss them together. The experts have had a much slower roll out with their advice than in past seasons, which has been difficult for viewers to understand. The beginnings of the relationships are typically when the Married At First Sight cast needs the experts most, but they haven’t been on screen more than a few short times.

Throughout the last few seasons of Married At First Sight, the audience has been clear that the experts have been failing on the series. While they’ve been doing their best to make matches that last, only two matches have made it out of the experiment and past the series final Decision Day in the last six seasons. With such a low success rate, the Married At First Sight have consistently tried to make it clear that they’re working hard to make matches, but aren’t at fault if they don’t work out. Unfortunately, their lack of ability has hurt their perception.

MAFS Season 19 Needs An Expert Overhaul

Although some of the experts have been part of the since the beginning of Married At First Sight, things need to change if the success rate continues to stay so low. With Married At First Sight season 18 not appearing to be something that will be a success for the majority of the couples matched up, things will need to change within the team of experts. Married At First Sight needs to make changes for its next season quickly, or viewers may struggle even further to trust the process and rely on the experts.
