Pastor Cal’s interactions with the couples has been minimal, so seeing him give advice or try to counsel them through an issue hasn’t been on the same level that it usually is. Throughout his time on the show this season, viewers have had a hard time watching him.

During a recent episode of Married At First Sight season 18, Pastor Cal was talking to troubled couple Michelle Tomblin and David Trimble who have been having an incredibly difficult time connecting with one another. While talking to Michelle, who has issues with the way David lives his life and doesn’t know how to overcome her disdain, Pastor Cal mentioned that her role in the marriage was akin to clocking in at work. Though Michelle has struggled in her marriage, Pastor Cal’s analogy wasn’t giving her any credit for trying with her MAFS husband, instead making her look difficult.

Pastor Cal Shouldn’t Be On The MAFS Experts Moving Forward

He Should Focus On His Business

After his difficult comments that didn’t appear to be helpful to Michelle in moving forward in her relationship with David, Pastor Cal was ripped apart by Married At First Sight season 18 viewers. While Michelle hasn’t been popular with viewers, giving her very little credit for trying in her relationship with David made people angry, and rightly so. Pastor Cal shouldn’t be working with the Married At First Sight couples in future seasons, as he doesn’t seem to know what’s going on in their marriages well enough to counsel them properly. Instead, Cal should focus on his own business.
