Malekith

Malekith in the MCU

For many MCU fans, Marvel Cinematic Universe film ever made, and as such, Malekith is one of the worst MCU villains ever seen. Bland and by the books, Malekith wasn't even close to his comic book interpretation, making for a weak bad guy.

However, being a weak villain made his death even more satisfying. It's an absolute joy watching this boring character get teleported bit by bit away and then crushed by his own ship. His death alone almost makes the movie watchable.

Kaecilius

Kacelius

Sometimes, there are worse fates than death for one to face. For a villain, that fate is what makes any audience cheer with joy. Any villain, even one as by the numbers as Kaecilius from Doctor Strange, deserves a death that is memorable and imaginative.

By all s, not many movie-goers really Kaecilius. When he killed The Ancient One and set out to destroy the world, however, his fate was sealed. After Strange made a bargain with Dormammu though, Kaecilius was sucked into the Dark Dimension to his ultimate demise.

Brock Rumlow/Crossbones

Crossbones in Captain America: Civil War

While it's surprising to hear, a small percent of MCU baddies don't always die at the end of the movies. If anything, the audience wants their end even more and Brock Rumlow, also known as Crossbones, is one example of this.

It's somewhat fitting that the MCU's first villain has a satisfying death. Obadiah Stane was responsible for many atrocities throughout Iron Man. From getting Tony Stark kidnapped to funding the terrorist organization known as The Ten Rings, Stane was a great first antagonist.

As such, his death set the bar for MCU villain demises. After donning his own Iron Man suit and becoming the Iron Monger, Stane was subsequently killed when the suit overloaded, toppling him into an arc reactor and exploding in a blaze of glory.

Darren Cross/Yellowjacket

Yellow Jacket

Typically, many filmmakers get to a point especially in a universe like the MCU, where they clone a villain. Yellowjacket, from Ant-Man, is essentially a clone of Obadiah Stane. He's just as evil, killing co-workers, shooting Hank Pym, and generally being a bad guy.

By the end of the film, Cross is given a worthy death. After Ant-Man breaks his suit, Yellowjacket is crushed and shrunken down to a microscopic speck where he more than likely died from either exposure or the sheer force of being shrunken.

Ultron

Once in a while, a villain's death doesn't have to be large or dramatic. Sometimes, the demise can be small and yet still be satisfying, like what happened to Ultron, the villainous AI from Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

Throughout the entire film, Ultron's goal is to destroy humanity and restart it in a large, intelligent, and grandiose plot. Yet by the end, he's left with only one measly robot, which feels like an insult given his master plan and it's grandeur. Maybe it's for the better that Vision killed him.

Ego

Usually, in movies, there are villains movie-goers hate. Then there are those who fans REALLY hate, who are some of the evilest people to appear on the silver screen. Ego, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.2, falls into the second category.

Ego's list of crimes could fill a book. From murdering hundreds of his own children and wives to assimilating the very universe to putting cancer in Peter Quill's mom, the list is endless. When that evil planet's brain is destroyed and he crumbles away, audiences cheered.

Hela

Hela

Sibling rivalry. The two words every brother and sister dread to hear, words that spark arguments from who is better to who takes out the garbage. Thor wished he only had these issues, instead of the ones he encounters with his sister, Hela, the villain of Thor: Ragnorok.

For Hela, to be the better child meant destroying every Odin had built, from his people to his memory to even mutilating Thor. It's a contest no one wants to lose and thankfully, Hela ends up being the loser when Surter destroys her.

Thanos

Thanos

If there was a club for the world's most hated superhero movie bad guys, Thanos would be the founder. Avengers: Endgame, Thanos sets himself as the MCU and Avengers worst villain.

After decimating his way through the MCU in Infinity War, brutalizing and killing some fan favorites, Thanos achieved his ultimate goal and destroyed half the universe. Returning in Endgame, the purple jerk finally met his end by being dusted himself in a death worthy of a standing ovation.
