The Ultraman. When a multidimensional cosmic threat blurs the lines between the Marvel universe and Ultraman’s, Marvel’s mightiest must team up with Japan’s greatest hero while kaiju in both realities grows dangerously restless. All the worse, peace will be hard to achieve when Galactus recruits a new alien herald.

Ultraman X Avengers #1 – written by Kyle Higgins and Mat Groom, with art by sco Manna – is the newest of Marvel’s many crossovers with Japanese media, but Ultraman may just be a perfect fit for Marvel’s colorful presentations of the fight between good and evil.

Fans can expect this crossover to scratch their itch for secretive scientific organizations, and a never-ending presence of violent monsters and aliens. The only question is which reality brings the greater threat to the other. Unfortunately for Ultraman, Galactus is about as bad as it gets.
