The first tidbits of Thor: Love and Thunder were strangely bereft of Gorr the God Butcher's presence. Played by Christian Bale, fans familiar with the character in the comics know that Gorr was one of, if not the toughest, a foe that Thor had ever faced, young or old.
Despite the mighty power of the All-Black (Gorr's sword) and the countless gods he's killed through the years, there are still beings who can challenge him. After all, gods aren't the only top dogs in the Marvel universe, and against them, Gorr might start praying himself.
Ghost Rider
The Ghost Rider is possessed by one of the strongest and most absurdly angry beings in existence, Zarathos. The Ghost Rider's strength, speed, durability, and regeneration are said to be fueled by the sheer spite that Zarathos feels towards all sin and evil. The Ghost Rider, even more so than Gorr himself, is the spirit of vengeance.
Every aspect of the Rider's being is dedicated to exacting vengeance upon damned souls. Few other beings are as guilty of as many atrocities as Gorr is. The Penance Stare would likely subject Gorr to his own hypocrisy, and based on how his arc ended in Thor: God of Thunder, the guilt would be overbearing for the butcher.
Sentry
Sentry is a Marvel character that is so absurdly powerful that he is said to hold the power of "1,000,000 suns" exploding at once. Every single person who has seen him in action knows that it's no bluff. If anything, some might consider the number a bit too humble. If there was anything holding Sentry back, it was Sentry himself.
His mind is so fractured that even at his most powerful, he was incredibly susceptible to manipulation and traps. That being said, Gorr was never subtle about his fighting, and there would be nothing, even the All-Black, that he could do to put the Sentry down for good.
Uatu the Watcher
Although merely an observer, if any being was foolish enough to challenge Uatu, they would find themselves regretting the choice. Uatu is a being who often chooses to observe, as an oath to himself, and allow universes their own free will. However, sometimes, a bit of a celestial intervention is needed.
In such cases, Uatu has proven himself a formidable opponent. His powers scale up to celestial levels. While he's not experienced in combat, the raw amount of power he has allowed him to face off against a hungry Galactus. Not to mention, his reality-warping powers could simply send Gorr across multiple dimensions with ease.
Galactus
When the Marvel Universe needs a big threat, they usually like to push out ol' Galactus. After all, few things are more terrifying on a cosmic level than a celestial who eats planets like popcorn. While Gorr in the comics has taken on three Thors from three different time periods, even they pale to Galactus in power.
The only chance Gorr could have of defeating him is if he caught him while he was starving. Otherwise, even the All-Black (at least when wielded by Gorr), can't do much against the ancient celestial. There's a reason why Galactus is rumored to be the next big MCU villain, especially with the Fantastic Four coming soon.
Franklin Richards
Franklin Richards is an Omega-level mutant of incomprehensible power. From the moment he was born, he showcased reality-warping abilities so strong that both his parents feared what would happen should Franklin lose control of himself. In a far future, he was said to have punched out Galactus.
Gorr is definitely incredibly powerful. What will be made clear more and more however is how little he can do against beings who can warp reality around themselves. And a young Franklin Richards was doing such things by accident. Franklin Richards could likely out Gorr on ice had he been inclined to know of his presence.
Knull
Knull isn't just an eldritch god of darkness. Knull isn't just the progenitor of all symbiotes. He's the creator of the All-Black, the very sword that gives Gorr all of his power. Although the All-Black left Knull to bond with Gorr, that was during one of the rare times that he was weakened in a fight with other celestials.
Knull at his peak could very well just recall the All-Black back to himself. Like all symbiotes, it was simply an extension of his will, and that will was to kill all life. If anything, Knull would likely view Gorr as a worthy priest, and turn the butcher into one of his own enslaved warriors.
The Living Tribunal
The Living Tribunal is a cosmic entity second (or so he claims) only to The One Above All, and he merely acts as an extension of his will. For the most part, that basically means he's just as omnipotent and omniscient as the TOAA himself. His powers aren't limited to merely one universe, but all of them.
It is at this point that most readers probably realize the limitations of Gorr's powers. Gorr was so effective at killing small g "gods" because the All-Black was basically their kryptonite, forged from the blood of two celestials at the moment of their death and fed with even more god blood. Unfortunately, the Living Tribunal is something more than that.
Molecule Man
Molecule Man happens to have the ability to manipulate all matter. All matter just so happens to be literally everything that exists. Uatu the Watcher has even claimed that his very existence was a threat to his entire race.
With that in mind, Gorr would have a tough time even existing when fighting Molecule Man. The only real way Gorr could fight him is by manipulating or tricking him. For all of Molecule Man's powers, he's still incredibly insecure about his status in the grand multiverse. That insecurity led to him being beat by a certain being from beyond the multiverse.
The Beyonder
The Beyonder is a being from outside the reality of the Marvel universe. It's as confusing as it sounds. All that readers need to know is that he's an incredibly powerful reality warper, whose whims have caused the birth and death of quadrillions of universes over and over again. The Beyonder is basically that annoying kid in the playground who keeps saying he's more powerful than everybody else, only it's real.
The Beyonder is responsible for both Secret War events, pitting heroes and villains alike to study them. The only being that could even hold a candle to the Beyonder is, funny enough, Molecule Man. The two soon become fast "friends", for lack of a better term. So yeah, Gorr's not stabbing this guy.
The One Above All
They are the capital G "God" of the Marvel universe. Gorr might kill several powerful beings parading as gods, but he isn't even an atom compared to The One Above All. It's a struggle to even comprehend the all-encoming everything that The One Above All is. Usually, they are either pure light or Jack Kirby to characters who meet them.
Of course, The One Above All doesn't so much beat Gorr, because that implies they would bother. The One Above All may be all-powerful, but these powers can only manifest themselves through love and hope. Considering love and hope are the concepts by which good beats evil, Gorr's defeat to Thor in the comics could be seen as an extension of TOAA's will.
