Warning! Spoilers ahead for Extreme Carnage: Scream #1

In the latest issue of Marvel Comics' Venom family reunion using gross and equally cruel methods. Having taken the place of a senator who's running on an anti-alien campaign, Carnage is making all sorts of dark plans for the future, but he apparently needs his symbiote siblings from the Life Foundation to get it done. Now, this new issue sees Carnage going after his first sibling Scream, and his actions do not bode well for the rest of the Life Foundation symbiotes or the rest of the Marvel Universe at large.

In the aftermath of Marvel's Flash Thompson's Agent Venom have learned that Krane is in danger, which is made evident in the previous issue of Extreme Carnage where Kasaday replaced Krane, clearly hoping to incite more fear of symbiotes in a bid to potentially claim the presidency.

Extreme Carnage: Scream #1 from Clay McLeod Chapman, Chris Mooneyham, and Marcio Menyz sees the red and yellow Scream symbiote and its new host Andi Benton attempting to serve as a lethal protector similar to Venom himself. However, Scream soon hears the call of Carnage, and before Andi knows it, she's become trapped by Kasady in a hellish mindscape, all while Scream is unwittingly pulled towards his influence. Somehow, Carnage is connected to all of his symbiote siblings, and he now has the ability to turn them into his Carnage-infested puppets against their will, leading to a gross corruption neither Scream nor Andi are able to prevent.

Furthermore, Andi would have been suffocated and killed during the corruption process had it not been for her hellfire abilities which she used to free herself (while harming her symbiote in the process). Unfortunately, that sealed the deal and Carnage/Scream left as a dark and new combination while leaving Andi on her own, abandoned and deeply traumatized without her other as a result.

Whatever Carnage has planned, it looks as though he's going to be forcing a reunion with all of symbiote siblings whether they like it or not, corrupting them one by one until they became his murderous playthings to somehow use against the public, no doubt to generate more fear of aliens and symbiotes in the process. In any case, while Eddie Brock's Venom has effectively ascended to a higher power and position by becoming the new King in Black, it seems as though it will be up to Agent Venom to battle Cletus Kasady as Extreme Carnage continues with Carnage grossly turning his symbiote siblings into infested versions of himself.
