Cosplayers love the character, although many choose to portray him as a female to create something unique, or at least something with a little more variety. Here are 10 of the best cosplayers who owned the infamous genderbent Deadpool cosplay. As always, if you like their work, make sure to check out their social media using the provided links.

Jessica Nigri

World-famous cosplayer and internationally-renowned model Jessica Nigri has nothing to be afraid of - even in the darkness of the sewers - in this creative Deadpool cosplay from all the way back in 2014. First off, her outfit is really cool, not to mention very detailed - especially when it comes to the utility belt, which is packed with everything from a grenade (you never know when those will come in handy) to branded Go-Go juice.

The props are pretty well-designed, and it seems like Nigri has definitely picked up Deadpool's signature violent but quirky attitude. The photography, courtesy of Adam Patrick Murray, is done extremely well and gives the entire cosplay a touch of flair.

Maid Of Might

Self-described "comic collector and all-around dork" Maid of Might owns this hard-core Deadpool cosplay, completely living in the moment and at the same time promoting the sort of indifference to the world that Deadpool's so famous for.

Her costume looks amazing - partly because it uses a complicated set of gradients instead of just being red-on-black - and her props compliment it to create a rugged aesthetic. The photography is done by the talented Nelson Seralbo; it's superb as well as more than worthy of mention.

Nichameleon

Aussie cosplay legend Nichameleon ran the risk of incorporating Deadpool's signature scars into her outfit, something most cosplayers of the character either struggle with perfecting or refuse to do altogether - but, here at least, they actually turned out pretty well!

Her self-assured smirk while lightly waving a gun around is peak Deadpool, and her costume is simple but instantly recognizable (which is kind of the point).

Sutefaniiroozu

Sutefaniiroozu rocks this awesome Deadpool-themed latex catsuit, complete with utility belt and, of course, weapons. The photography (by Fractured Photography) captures everything perfectly and gives the cosplay the sort of unique visual design that every photographer brings to the table. Her sly smile shows that she's completely self-assured and confident in her abilities, and her relaxed demeanor proves this.

Props are tantamount to creating a good Deadpool, and hers are some of the most modern-looking, meaning they go well with the overall look and feel of the cosplay.

Danielle Denicola

Veteran cosplayer Danielle Denicola takes a stab at Deadpool, creating a female version of the character that, gender aside, isn't too different from the male version, thanks to her contained-crazy demeanor and just her cosplaying talent in general.

Lovisa D. Cosplay

Lovisa D. Cosplay does Deadpool justice with this shockingly good take on the time-honored character. She definitely matches his laid-back disposition and love for weapons (seriously, there's even a knife holster attached to her leg - which, by the way, is an excellent side detail).

Great props, a great cosplay environment, and great photography (by the talented Nathan Groves) all come together in this cosplay to scintillating effect.

Chrysta Fett

The ever-creative Chrysta Fett has three different takes on Deadpool (four if you count this one), and all of them are pretty interesting and unique in their own way - not to mention how good the costumes are from a solely technical standpoint. She also has tons of cool props - many of which bear Deadpool's face (after all, he is very self-centered), such as the gloves or, better yet, the grenades.

Deadpool's feisty but ruthless attitude is executed perfectly, thanks to both the cosplayer's inherent skill and the commendable camera work (from J. Haas Photography).

Nerd Alert

Popular cosplayer Nerd Alert stuns with this sharp, fresh Deadpool cosplay; her "always ready for a fight" attitude as she pulls out two gleaming katanas is spot-on. The full-body suit is amazing, carefully patterned and boldly textured, and many of the costume's elements have a voguish aesthetic, such as the stylish utility belt complete with modern leather pouches.

Cosplayer Royalistaylor has a lot going for her in this truly impressive Deadpool cosplay; the heavily-textured, high-quality costume (designed by the extremely talented Professional Cosplay) is something of note, as are the well-designed props, not to mention fellow cosplayer spideyluc's killer photography.

Her talent as a cosplayer, in general, is obviously what's most important, and Taylor clearly succeeds in this regard; she's able to perfectly execute the idea of a "female Deadpool" through carefully-placed design characteristics, an unwavering swagger, and bold, expressionistic poses.

Caitlin Christine

CaitlinChristinee definitely has the Deadpool act down-pat, right down to the bizarre sense of meta-humor (case in point: see middle image). She's also got the costume; in this case, a vibrant, eye-catching, and abundantly cool piece complete with a succinct, stylish utility belt and plenty of cool props, including Deadpool's signature katanas.
