Though Bailey was so overlooked by everyone that some theories suggested he was never really part of Earth-616, this touching reunion proves his place in the Marvel Universe.
After Bailey’s journey through the Spider-Verse, his connection to the Web of Life and Destiny is restored once and for all, meaning the Marvel Universe finally re his last three years as a sidekick and hero.

Bailey Briggs was left alone in the universe and forgotten by everyone he knew and loved; now, being able to fully reconnect with his mother and friends is bound to be full of strong emotions. with Spider-Man’s, help in Spider-Boy #8.
However, Tabitha still had no recollection of her son, and stayed with some of the Humanimals who could not be helped, including a genetic clone of her son, Boy-Spider. When the Briggs family finally reunites, as Marvel canon re Bailey in the preview for Spider-Boy #11, Boy-Spider can be seen feeling dejected and left behind by Tabitha. Though Bailey feels relieved to be ed by everyone he knows, after Spider-Man makes a shady deal to help him, this new development could bring more problems for the character as his story progresses and unfolds.

Though the young sidekick’s ordeal of being forgotten was emotionally taxing, it may have helped him become even more of his own individual hero, distinct from Spider-Man.
With Bailey’s Earth-616 history being officially unlocked, his potential in the Marvel universe expands exponentially with both his past and future. With a few years of Spider-Boy's adventures being ed by the surrounding characters, but still unfamiliar to readers, the possibilities are endless on where to take the character next. As the preview hints that there could be some tension between Spider-Boy and his genetic inversion Boy-Spider, over Tabitha, this story could lead to a terrifying new villain for the character if Boy-Spider goes bad. Additionally, it’s been revealed that a new Spider-Girl will debut in future issues of Spider-Boy.
Though the young sidekick’s ordeal of being forgotten was emotionally taxing, it may have helped him become even more of his own individual hero, distinct from Spider-Man. Since Madame Web warned Spider-Boy that his goal of being ed has come at a cost, it’s pretty much guaranteed that more problems will arise for Bailey. Spider-Man's sidekick will need all the help he can get as the universe’s grand plans for him continue to unfold, and Spider-Boy levels up his hero status in his solo title, while he’s finally ed in Marvel lore.
Spider-Boy #11 will be available September 4, 2024 from Marvel Comics.
