The smash-hit hero shooter Marvel Rivals has taken the gaming community by storm since its release only a few weeks ago. This game allows players to assemble a squad of various heroes and villains from across the Marvel franchise, including characters like Iron Man, Loki, and Wolverine, in order to claim victory against the other team. It is an all-around very fun and challenging experience that is partially helped thanks to its massive roster.

The characters within this roster aren't limited to just their default costumes, however. Marvel Rivals provides players with a multitude of unique skins for every character, with many of them referencing various comics, movies, and even hypothetical scenarios that all look simply incredible. Although there are countless incredible skins available for numerous characters, only some can truly be considered the very best in the game.

10 Galactic Fangs

Hawkeye Gets An Awesome Vibranium Suit

Despite Hawkeye's lack of powers compared to many other characters in Marvel Rivals, it has not stopped him from receiving a fantastic skin. The Galactic Fangs skin has the iconic archer dressed from head to toe in brilliant purple armor that helps to make him look incredibly mysterious and dangerous when out on the battlefield. It has even granted Clint a katana to make him look even more imposing.

One very interesting detail regarding this skin is that the game explains that the gear is forged from Vibranium, which has helped to make Clint an incredibly silent yet deadly warrior. That detail makes one unable to help but wonder just how exactly Hawkeye came into possession of this suit, leading to the potential for a fantastic story.

9 God Of Magic

Dr. Strange Ascends To Godhood

This unique variation of Dr. Strange has ascended past the limitations of mortality to become a literal god of magic. This skin perfectly exudes a regal vibe that would be associated with a deity, complete with a long flowing white cape and lots of gold accents across the entire outfit. The most interesting little detail is the fact that Dr. Strange now has what appears to be a third eye in the middle of his forehead, giving him a somewhat otherworldly appearance that one cannot help but be mesmerized by.

This costume originates from the 2018 run of the Doctor Strange comics. When Loki uses his magic to become the Sorcerer Supreme, Dr. Strange looks to become more powerful by harnessing the power of the World Tree to become the God of Magic. It is a truly mesmerizing skin that looks incredible when in action on the battlefield, and truly conveys the power that Strange's magic is capable of as one of the best Marvel Rivals characters.

8 Incognito Dolphin

An Outfit To Make Jeff Even Cuter

Jeff the Land Shark was already an incredibly adorable character on his own, and Marvel Rivals has somehow found a way to make him appear even cuter with this alternate skin. Incognito Dolphin shows Jeff dressed up in a fuzzy pink dolphin outfit that adds even more to his already incredibly high charm. The tag even appears to still be visible on the outfit, implying that Jeff had run straight into the store and taken the costume for himself.

Jeff's original Incognito Dolphin costume in the comics was a simple silver color, but this one takes the concept and improves upon it significantly. On top of adding to his cuteness, the bright pink color immediately stands out and helps him to match perfectly with his friend Gwenpool. All in all, it is a very adorable design that is also very memorable, meaning that any Jeff players should make sure to use it when playing.

7 Bast's Chosen

One Of T'Challa's Ancestors Takes The Stage

Black Panther is already an incredibly iconic hero in the Marvel universe, and this alternative skin is an incredible subversion of expectations regarding what audiences are used to. Rather than his usual Vibranium suit, this version of Black Panther is shown wearing a prehistoric outfit complete with a multitude of numerous fangs and claws being worn as accessories. There is even an entire black panther pelt being worn around his head, giving him the appearance of a fierce predator hunting down its prey.

The reason for this massive design change is that this specific version of Black Panther isn't actually meant to be T'Challa. Rather, it is instead one of his ancient ancestors named Bashenga, who appeared in the 2017 Marvel Legacy comics. Although this isn't the version of Black Panther that many are used to, it is undeniable that this is a fantastic skin that looks awesome when out prowling around the battlefield.

6 Shining Star

A Dazzling & Elegant Look For Luna Snow

This alternative skin for Marvel Rivals' Luna Snow is a dazzling new look for the heroine with ice powers. Gone is her usual outfit with her shorts, jacket, and tank top, as they have all been replaced with a long sparkling dress that perfectly embodies a winter theme due to the various shades of blue and the small cluster of ice crystals on her shoulder. The many sparkling portions of the dress and one of the boots resemble glittering ice while also making the outfit appear very stylish and appealing to look at.

The skin also has Luna wearing numerous accessories that further allude to her ice powers. She is shown wearing snowflake-shaped earrings as well as another snowflake on her belt. It all comes together to create a truly remarkable skin that is both truly beautiful and memorable.

5 Mohawk Rock

A Great 80s Punk Look For Storm

Storm is undoubtedly one of the most iconic X-Men characters out there, and this alternate skin is an incredible look for her. She appears to have ditched her famous costume with the cape for a leather outfit with a short vest covered in metal studs, complete with large thick boots that are just as spikey. Her hair has also been drastically changed to resemble a large silvery mohawk that suits her very well.

This design is a very clever reference to Storm's costume in the 80s Uncanny X-Men comics, where she ended up temporarily losing her powers, and subsequently donned a brand-new look that is very similar to this skin. It not only looks fantastic on her, but is a great change of pace from her iconic flowing black outfit.

4 Galactic Wings

Mantis Gets Her Own Vibranium Suit

Much like Hawkeye's Galactic Fangs skin, Mantis also has an alternate skin where she too gets a new suit that's completely made of Vibranium. The suit is sleek and a pleasant combination of various shades of green that is very appealing to look at. The suit itself even comes equipped with two antennas, and the bottom portion of the suit makes it seem as if Mantis has wings, all of which create a clever design that corresponds with her name.

Although the suit does not convey the fact that Mantis is a healer, one cannot deny that the suit looks very impressive. It helps to make Mantis look like a noticeable threat on the battlefield, which is helped by her ability to manipulate nature with her various moves. It truly is the coolest Mantis skin in the game, and many players cannot deny that fact.

3 Hela's Default Skin

Hela's Iconic Outfit, Reimagined

Although the reception to the various Thor movies in the MCU has varied over the years, the goddess Hela was a clear standout in Thor: Ragnarok, thus allowing her to cement her place in Marvel Rivals' roster. Although all her numerous skins have great designs, her default skin clearly stands out from the rest. This skin takes her iconic outfit, complete with her massive crown, and makes it stand out with numerous extra details to truly make her come off as a goddess of death.

The most striking element of this skin's design that helps it to stand out from the rest is the massive cape, which billows around Hela like it's made of hellfire itself. The bright shades of green not only give this skin a clear villainous, evil vibe, but also helps Hela to stand out so that her entire costume isn't just a single shade of black.

2 Growth & Decay

A Unique Nature Theme For Cloak & Dagger

Cloak and Dagger are already an iconic duo on their own, but this skin truly helps to elevate their designs with a unique nature theme. Dagger specifically looks to be a fantastic mix of both beautiful and deadly at the same time, with her outfit making her resemble a pretty white and pink flower. However, the various spikes around her wrists and her head resemble thorns, showing that, despite her beauty, there is a clear presence of danger to be wary of when around her.

Cloak, on the other hand, is a fantastic representation of decay, as his design in this skin clearly resembles a menacing rotting tree. He almost gives off the vibe of a dark deity with the long billowing cape and a headpiece that appears to be made of wood. Combining the two together into a pair really helps to sell the design as a whole, making it a fantastic skin for players who want something that's truly unique that stands out from many of the other skins in the game.

A reference to the New Mutants comics from 1988, this Magik skin is a truly incredible design that features the hero in heavy silver armor complete with bright blue flames and a crown. On top of this, her bright blue sword looks particularly deadly, especially when she transforms into her incredibly menacing demon form. Both of these combine to create a truly incredible skin in Marvel Rivals that clearly stands out from the rest.
