Mary Jane Watson have been unveiled as the final two participants in this year's series of ski chalet variant covers from Marvel Comics. They the likes of Captain America, Spider-Boy, and Clea Strange, among others. This fresh and frosty series echoes DC's recent swimsuit variants as well as a twist on Marvel's own high fashion Hellfire Gala covers. With Jessica Drew and MJ's arrival to the party, fans can now enjoy all seven snowy covers.

Weeks ago, audiences got their first look at five Marvel heroes in their wintry finest. The final two covers, J. Scott Campbell's variant for Amazing Spider-Man #40 and David Nakayama's cover for Spider-Woman #2, were not shared in the initial preview. Their entries put them alongside fellow ski chalet variant artists Lucas Werneck, Humberto Ramos, Greg Land, Pablo Villalobos, and Russell Dauterman.

Hitting shelves on December 20 and 27, respectively, the final two covers were shared on social media by Midtown Comics.

MJ and Spider-Woman Are Ready to Shred the Slopes in New Variants

ASM #40 MJ Ski Chalet variant

Mary Jane is ready to ski on Campbell's variant for ASM #40. She's donned a head to toe look covered in classic Spider-Man design motifs. Interestingly, MJ's ensemble has no apparent nods to her Jackpot redesign, which arrives roughly a month after this ski chalet variant. Her incoming Jackpot era is a clear departure from her role as Peter Parker's love interest, and getting her own ongoing series seems to this. In fact, things are more precarious than ever between Peter and MJ after he attacked her and her boyfriend Paul in a psychotic break. Regardless of current continuity, though, Mary Jane Watson will always be most widely known as a Spider-Man ing character, and putting her in a cute Spidey themed outfit will hardly ever miss.

While MJ prefers skis, Jessica Drew is a gal who loves to snowboard as shown by Nakayama's Spider-Woman variant. Cooling off after shredding down the mountainside, Spider-Woman has her mask on, top down, and a snowball in hand in case anyone wants a fight. Of course, starting a snowball fight with the likes of Storm, a fellow ski chalet variant star, seems like a losing battle. Jess' sports bra seems to reference the black Spider-Woman suit she donned briefly in her last ongoing series. Other than that, though, her outfit is a clear snowsuit twist on her classic red and yellow costume.

Life Isn't a Snow Day for MJ and Spider-Woman Right Now

Spider-Woman #2 Ski Chalet Variant

Both Spider-Woman and Mary Jane are in rough spots right now. After briefly being erased from reality, Jessica Drew has returned only to find her infant son missing. Meanwhile, Mary Jane's two adoptive children have not only been killed, but were also revealed to have been fabricated as part of a super villainous plot meant to trap her. Thankfully, the ski chalet variant covers differ from their Hellfire Gala peers by not being rooted in reflecting their subject characters' actual state in continuity. Spider-Woman and MJ Watson's lives are about to get even more brutal with the events of the Gang War crossover. For fans who want to see these characters in a happier setting, these gorgeous variant covers are just what they're looking for.

Amazing Spider-Man #40 will be available on December 20, Spider-Woman #2 will be available on December 27 from Marvel Comics.
