Fans will be happy to see the X-Men getting exposure in video games lately. Infamously, the X-Men were absent from Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, despite the major characters appearing in the previous titles. Although never confirmed, many speculated the reason why the X-Men were absent was due to Fox owning the film rights. It is certainly an interesting coincidence that the characters are being featured heavily now, just as Marvel reclaimed the film rights.
