Some of the most recognizable Star Wars characters are bounty hunters, and they add a distinct but intimidating dimension to stories set in a galaxy far, far away. Carrying out hits on behalf of their employers, there is a sense of lawlessness and danger to bounty hunters, making them beloved by generations of fans.
Similarly, villains are the glue that holds the Marvel Universe together, and with so many different personalities present in the comics, there are bound to be some villains who would be right at home as a bounty hunter in Star Wars. In looking for Marvel villains suited for the life of a Star Wars bounty hunter, it is necessary to consider a character's experience with hunting down targets, their level of success, and the type of lifestyle that they live.
Kraven the Hunter
With his name referring to his occupation, Kraven the Hunter would make a great Star Wars bounty hunter due to his extensive experience with hunting animals. Considering that the Star Wars universe is filled with multitudes of different alien species, the Spider-Man villain would have no trouble adapting to different types of assignments. In fact, it is likely that out of all of the villains considered here, Kraven might have the most fun as a bounty hunter, as the world of his targets would significantly expand.
Mystique
A mutant with the ability to shapeshift into any person, Mystique would have a massive advantage as a Star Wars bounty hunter. As she has demonstrated several times, Mystique is not afraid to kill if it means she gets to survive another day. Her fighting skills, marksmanship, and street smarts would benefit her immensely in the field. Additionally, her steely demeanor and comfort with working alone makes her right at home with the types of personalities typically seen in bounty hunters. However, her loyalty to no one but herself and a select group of people might lead Mystique to quickly turn against her employer at a moment's notice, making her somewhat unreliable.
Bullseye
A longtime foe of Daredevil, Bullseye has the uncanny ability to turn almost any object into a lethal weapon with enough throwing force. Without having to rely on conventional weapons such as guns, and coupled with his sense of accuracy, Bullseye is at an advantage since any everyday object can become deadly at his disposal. This would be immensely useful for him while fighting in public spaces such as bars, where he would have a large array of weapons to use against his targets. Furthermore, Bullseye lacks a sense of remorse, allowing him to act without regard for the consequences of his actions.
Killmonger
Erik Killmonger would make the best Star Wars bounty hunter for several reasons. To start, Killmonger is one of the smartest villains in the Marvel Universe, having been educated at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, complementing his combat smarts with a wealth of knowledge about engineering. In his solo series by Bryan Edward Hill, Killmonger received employment offers everywhere from the military to the Silicon Valley upon graduation from MIT, making him the most desired member of his class. With this combination of both scientific knowledge and his own experiences with human nature, along with his intensive combat and weapons training, Killmonger is not one to be trifled with, because he is the best at everything he does.
Above all, Killmonger is a survivor, having endured the tragic death of his father early on in life, and then forced to work alongside rogues like Ulysses Klaue and Wilson Fisk. There is a resiliency to Killmonger that makes him highly adaptable to any situation or foe, and this matches up with many bounty hunters in Star Wars. While the other villains mentioned here would make great bounty hunters in their own right, Killmonger just might be the best the galaxy has ever seen.
