Capcom's Avengers: Infinity War).
Now, a new trailer shows off a couple of new additions to the game roster. ing in the fun are one of Marvel's greatest heroes and also one of its most powerful villains: Spider-Man and Thanos.

The trailer, which premiered at Comic-Con International, begins with Dead Rising's Frank West on the receiving end of a massive beating at the hands of Nemesis (Resident Evil) and Mike Haggar (Final Fight). The tide turns soon enough, however, when our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man enters the fray. The trailer shows off several of Spidey's moves, including his Spider-Sense triggering to alert him that his old friend Norman Osborne has sent some pumpkin bombs his way. Channeling the first Spider-Man movie, the wall-crawler manages to leap between them and even webs one of them to use as an attack against Haggar. (We can assume that the whole sequence is a special move, though it would be fairly in character of the Green Goblin to randomly attack Spider-Man while he was in the middle of a fight.)
We also get to see Mind Stone at its most powerful, with Gamora and Thanos both seeming to benefit from its power and Gamora being aided in her attack by her own shadow. With the Infinity Stones in play, it looks like we're going to get some truly amazing combo opportunities in the game.
The trailer also gives us a glimpse at the new "AIMbrella" stage, which appears to have MODOK running what we can assume is an Umbrella Corporation facility. It's possible that this may tie into the larger plot of the game in some fashion, as it would make sense that an AIM/Umbrella team-up would be something that heroes from both worlds would want to shut down. Given that the Infinity Stones are involved, however, any AIMbrella-focused storyline would likely just be part of a single mission.
Regardless, the new trailer certainly gives fans of the series (and the respective Marvel and Capcom franchises) something to look forward to. With 29 playable characters announced so far and possibly more coming down the line as DLC, players should have plenty of options when it comes to harnessing the Infinity Stones and taking on the robotic forces of Ultron Sigma when the game releases on September 19.
