An insider has seemingly leaked Iron Man’s Infinity War Nanotech armor or a comic-accurate Hawkeye outfit. The developers’ strategy seems to be its attempt to rectify Marvel’s Avengers’ turbulent release, which was marred with bugs, glitches, and controversies involving its microtransactions.

Marvel’s Avengers' new skins come from a variety of Marvel mediums, such as the slate of MCU films, as well as the comics. Earlier this month, the game added Thor’s original MCU design, which included the winged helmet and silver armor. Many skins have inspiration from even further in Marvel’s past, like the recently-revealed Hulk’s Strange But True Outfit, which is effectively the character’s Gray Hulk persona from the 1980s comic storyline. While some skins offer slight variations from their original counterparts, there have been some instances in which Marvel’s Avengers skins proved more comic-accurate than even some TV adaptations.

Twitter and known leaker mmmmmmmmiller leaked what could be new Marvel’s Avengers skins, including a new Iron Man MCU Suit, Ms. Marvel outfit, and Hulk skin. Miller claims that the next MCU suit arriving in Marvel’s Avengers will be Iron Man’s Captain America: Civil War suit. Miller also suggests that the long-discussed Biohaze suit for Ms. Marvel is supposedly the Kree Stormranger suit, which the character dons on the cover of Magnificent Ms. Marvel #5. Miller adds that the anticipated Convention Bound suit for Ms. Marvel is civilian attire, in which the superhero sports a backpack and plain clothes. Among the leaks was a potential Hulk skin, in which the hero is bright green and glowing.

As with any leak, Miller’s should be taken with a grain of salt. However, it’s worth noting that they have correctly leaked content before, including Marvel’s AvengersThor: Love and Thunder crossover. The leak came before developers unveiled Jane Foster’s Thor, a new playable character that will have her own unique abilities. This new lineup of skins from Miller offers a variety of designs, including another MCU-inspired skin. Iron Man’s Captain America: Civil War skin is slightly different from previous skins offered in-game, containing more red coating and only slight gold plating. As for Ms. Marvel, the Kree Stromranger Nanosuit is an interesting choice, considering that in the comics she was accidentally assimilated to the Destined One’s nanosuit, bonding to the Biokinetic Polymer Suit. It’s unclear if Marvel’s Avengers will lean into that storyline or simply include the cosmetic. Hulk’s skin is a bit harder to identify, though fans have compared the glowing Hulk skin to the World Breaker Hulk from the World War Hulk comic storyline.

In addition to updates adding quality-of-life improvements to Marvel’s Avengers, the game has been consistent with its release of new character cosmetics and skins. The issue for some players, however, is that there is an emphasis on adding content for the purpose of microtransactions rather than impactful content updates. As Marvel’s Avengers moves towards its second anniversary, fans are curious as to what the future of Crystal Dynamics’ superhero adventure game looks like.
